Walks, batcaves and Fun with the kids!

When I am not indoors knee deep in nappies (jokes maybe ankle height, unless I have had spicy food it may be higher) I love to be outside. Thankfully I have some little explorers who with a push like to join me. My daughter as soon as she wakes up stands by the door with her coat on until somebody lets her out (not that she is a puppy, she does have some resemblances to one..) and my older son you have to stand behind him with a cattle prod until he realises he does like to be out side and the real world isnt made up of blocks and squares like the worlds of minecraft. Little bear my younger son is happy as long as he is strapped to his mumma.

So of we go walking around outside, we often like to let my daughter take the lead at 18 months she knows every route to get towards the beach. Its as if she is pulled to the sea she hasnt made it in the sea yet in which I am very surprised she may not love it some much if she realises how cold it is! Over the last few years of living by the sea my son has found a base in which he has called his batcave. I often have to go in before to check its safe as I think youths go there as a hiding place as we often find bottles hidden in trees and empty sweet wrappers.

So its often alot of fun he wants to climb, Ami cant quite she gets bored and heads to the sea. This is what happens every time! It has been lovely getting out, It has really made me realise how much of a hermit I have been, and how much more happy everyone is to be out.

It was so lovely to be outside in the sunshine, enjoying a bit of family time, even if we were chasing kids and climbing in bat caves I would rather do that anyday than sit indoors. Roll on the days with no coats and lovely warm days, evenings spent drinking a cold cider on the beach whilst the kids play outside past bedtime, i cant wait for the summer!

  7. Aww looks like a lovely day and love the batcave! Monkey is similar to your little girl in that he wants to be outside all the time. He frequently stands knocking at the inside of the front door to be let out! #mmwbh

  8. It's great when they can start toddling to where they want to go! Precious times. Well jealous of your location by the sea, we have to make do with the odd urban lake! :) #MMWBH

  10. After a long cold winter I think we're all looking forward to a bit warmer weather. I'd love it to be summer right now but unfortunately that's not going to happen and we'll have to endure those annoying April Showers first. Looks like your children had a fabulous time! #MMWBH
