Me and Mine - December

Wow what a year, can not believe today is the last day of the year! 2014 went by with out me knowing. One thing I am so happy about is taking our little photos each month, as much as my husband moans then so do the kids we are always happy of the result.

This months photo was taken at Southwold our family annual trip when at the in laws, sadly we forgot the DSLR so have Iphone photos which is a shame its such beautiful surroundings. We walk o the pier have chips it gives a nice little break from being in a house with 20 other people. The kids enjoyed running into the sea in their wellies and playing beat the tide.

So here we are looking forward to what next year has in store for us, alot more adventures I hope.

Here is the rest of the years shots from a little baby to a walking toddler, Our family is getting bigger each month, its even harder to keep them all still but oh so worth it. Its interesting to see in most photos I am holding little bear and my hubby holding July and September are my favorite pictures I think.

On a Blogging break See you in the New Year

This year I am taking a break from being online, I am sure you wont miss too much only baby updates and some photos, but with that I plan to enjoy and make many memories. Sitting on the Sofa cuddled up with the hubby without my laptop.. (although we will see how long that will last).

So with that thank you to everyone who has read my blog this year, for every comment. For being with me in the tough and the good, for reading the fun and laughter and seeing lots of time on the beach. This year has been a challenging yet great year. Next year is going to be awesome.

Happy Christmas All my lovely readers

Bubble Bum Review

We recently got sent a Bubble Bum. Yes a bubble bum you are now interested I bet, well this is a car booster seat that can be deflated and easily carried around how amazing is that. Its portable and foldable can be put away with out causing wasting too much boot space. It is the perfect car seat for 4-11 year olds when travelling especially abroad as it can fit easily in the luggage meaning they will be safe in the car whilst you are on holiday.

Our is very cramped in the backseat there is not much space for a normal booster seat with two chunky baby car seats and it fits perfectly. My son suggested it was more comfortable than his other booster seat that actually has not been used as it did not fit in the car.

The Bubble Bum has passed the same safety standards as other boosters. It has also been tested through the deflation process and passed as well. So for the parents who are immediately worried about this booster being damaged and deflating, the researchers prepared for that and tested for that.

The seat is designed so that the the 3-point harness is in the correct position for your child. One main aspect of the Bubble Bum’s 3-point belt is to protect your child’s tummy. In this way, the seat belt is set in the lap position. Depending on your child’s height, they may or may not need a belt adjuster to prevent the seat belts shoulder strap from rubbing their neckline.

It really is a great little booster seat that can be taken anywhere perfect for larger families and traveling. It comes in many different colours, inflates and deflates really easily and only costs £29.99. Check out the video to find out more.

Wicked Wednesdays: Urm whats this face?

Sorry I am a bit late did not think it was happening.
Happy Christmas and New year Wicked wednesdayers.

Perfect Stocking Fillers with H&A

We have had the pleasure of being a bath time Ambassador for H&A for the year and actually the kids have enjoyed it lots of new toys to play with at bath time. The last box of bath items was the most exciting I was so excited more so than the kids, it was as if it was for me (yes that is how cool I am). I was well and truly amazed at the range of bath products they have the range has really expanded and deffo worth a look at. So here is some ideas for stocking fillers as we all know this is the presents that the kids end up loving the most on Christmas morning (well this was me as a child I lived for wrapped up knick Knicks and socks in my stocking)

Top 3 Stocking fillers for Train Fans

1 - Wet and Stick bathtime clock - Great bath toy for helping you child learn shapes and numbers and sticks on to the walls and bath.

2- Next Stop Bathtime Colour and Stencil set - Great for creating little artists and comes with little bath bombs and a little sponge.

3- Trusty Thomas Sponge - Perfect Stocking filler and fits right down their at the toe end with the socks.

Disney Princess Lovers

1- Cinderella Wand - My two little ones went mad over this fighting over it. It also has some bath crystals so alot of fun making the bath all magical.

2 - Magical Bathtime Mirror - You can stick it on the side of the bath or wall or any surface including your tummy ( yes this did happen). They had great fun spotting themselves in the little mirror.

3 - Cinderella Bath Bubbles - Another must for the stocking bubble bath and what a pretty bottle you wont want to use it.

The Princess items were the biggest hit with the two with them both loving the wand and the mirror. As you can see from below that they got hold of them as I was taking some photos the little monkeys. Although it did take time to get them to take them into the bath Ami will not let the princess wand go in the bath and keeps on turning little bear into a frog poor boy. The great thing about H&A is the quality of the product, unlike some other cheaper products they do not seem so harsh on the little ones skins which is such a bonus for us mums.

I never really knew how much that H&A actually do and the amount of ranges. They are sure to suit every child the different ranges include Frozen, Thomas the Tank engine, Disney Princess, Minnie mouse and many more. The H&A range is currently on offer in Tescos at the moment so what are you waiting for head down there whilst stocks last. Also check out the website for more info and where else you can purchase these awesome items.

Its the most busiest time of the year

Dont get me wrong I do love Christmas I just wish it was not so busy. We have this week Kids parties. school parties, nursery parties, dressing up on different days, football meal and much more and thats just this week. Not to forget all the Christmas shopping I still need to get and don't forget all the wrapping too. Mental note do not think my whole 12 metres of wrapping paper will cover it all! Then there is making plans with friends and family its all busy busy. This is my first year working over Christmas I do not think that helps at all. I am not the most organised of people.

With all that I got the camera out one evening and took some snaps, you know to remember this year in years to come. I have felt a bit guilty I have not done enough craft or baking as previous years but have tried to make up by buying lots of Christmas craft bits from poundland! So below are my attempt at Christmas Photos, they remain unedited as I am juggling my time writing lists and trying not to forget someone to buy a gift for,

Little Bear not really wanting to take part!

In the Summer time - Mark Warner Ambassador Entry

I love the sunshine don't get me wrong walking to school with the icy wind on my face could be seen as torture fun but I long for the days of not having to wear a coat. The days where it does not take 3 hours to get out the door to find someone has lost a mitten and expect judgy looks as people see one cold little hand. No way take me back to flip flops and sun glasses that is why I would like to be a Mark Warner Mum just for my sanity. No that's a joke I hate being cold. hate the wind I just love sunny warm days. Its in my blood. So That is me but what about the other lot why would they want to go on a holiday with Mark Warner.

Firstly my poor Husband Matt he has been taking the slack of looking after the kids and he is starting to realise looking after 3 kids is sometimes (alot of the time) hard work. Along with fitting all his work in having to edit videos whilst two little ones badger him is starting to take his toll, his hair is not turned 80% grey hair coverage.

Next up in the tribe is Pants who is 8 and generally loves anything to do with being outside. He is a lover of sport and a lover of being in the water. We did have some tricky moments in the summer where he thought he could swim further than he could meaning Matt had to jump in after him in just his pants. I personally was rather impressed with the sight but poor Matt was fuming at how cold the water was. He needs a holiday as he needs a break from reading books and spellings.

Ami is our only girl and is 2 going on 12 she is hilarious and full of character. She comes out with most funny sayings at dinner time the other day she said "this room smells funny a bit like Little Bears smelly nappies" she obviously loves my cooking. She loves the beach and every day she wants to go to there thankfully we do not live not to far away from one. She has already been to France and traveled 16 hours in a Coach to Denmark. Ami needs a holiday as their is only so many times you can watch Peppa pig going to Italy without feeling a bit Jealous.

Last of the littlies is Little Bear who has just turned 1. He is a ray of light and loves nothing better than a good cuddle. He is the sweetist little boy you could meet and I really hope he stays like it. He is a bit more reserved maybe because he has two older siblings who ARE VERY NOISY. He got over his phobia of water in the Summer on our holiday to France after the 5th day he finally stopped crying every time he went in the water. Little Bear needs a holiday because he told me he wants to travel the world (ok that is a lie he can not say anything other than mumma, more and yeah at the moment).

Then there is me Mumatron aka Sara. When I am not knee deep in nappies I am often found at work knee deep in .. my job as a nurse. I spend my weeks juggling time and longing for more than 2 days of in a row. I really miss spending time as a family most weeks as shift work is often un socialbe and I miss alot of things, such as my eldest Son's last ever nativity. I love quality time with my family and having little adventures. Such as going to Denmark at 38 weeks pregnant to do some Mission work, good fun traveling 18 hours there and back. Although I could not fly so Matt had to bring Pants and Ami back on their own meaning I missed their first time on a flight boo. I came back via a van in case you were interested, not in the back of one nothing dodgy like. PS my picture is not recent I could not find a picture of me on my own I am now a bit more rounded as to say. I need a holiday well I just need some days where there is no pressure to do anything that would be fab.

So this is us my little but loud so very loud family. All different but all have one thing in common the love for the beach and not football before you think that!! We love spending time all of us together and what amazing opportunity to be a Mark Warner Mum. I saw the hoilday reviews of Mark Warner holidays on other blogs and I was amazed the little beds for the kids to sleep in whilst the parents can go out, what an amazing idea. Obviously thats not the only thing that stood out so much more, just looks like a perfect family holiday.

Just think if we get picked we can get away, I can stop looking anemic and the bags that have formed from working 13 hour shifts at the hospital will disappear. I could force my husband to make a short video whilst we are there that is what he does best. He may also have a chance to relax and not worry about school drop offs and nursery pick ups (he is late at least once a week). The kids well they would just love it.

Good luck everyone who enters.

PS: In case it was not clear this is our entry to be a Mark Warner holiday Ambassador :)
