Me and You - November

Life sure is busy I keep on forgetting to get a photo of the two of us each month. Our time together is mainly watching a film we rarely get time the two of us and we need it, we miss it. Its just a bit hard sometimes people are not so happy to look after three children so much or we could ask family but we do not because we have exhausted them with asking for them to watch them whilst we are working. So here we are a catch 22 postition whilst we find out feet working wise we have to make the most of nights watching a film or having dinner just the two of us.

I would love nothing better than a night away just the two of us somewhere where we could go out for dinner and have a lie in. Not worry about sorting kids clothes out or milk or being forced to watch Peppa pig. A chance for us to have a laugh like we used too, a chance for romance that can be so easily lost. I shall keep on hinting to my husband maybe one day, I can dream!

I love this man very much, he sure does make me laugh! People keep on asking if he dyes his beard 💙

Me and You - September

Sorry I am a bit late to join up this month. 

Becoming a working mumma I am a  a bit all over the place, but I got here in the end. 

This was me and my hubby in holiday in France. 

A rare moment no children and sunshine.

 These were not the best few but I spend my time taking pictures of the kids 

I leave ours till the last min. Or if I do at all. I must make an effort because I do love this man. 

He does make me laugh alot and often makes me feel like I have 4 children but he has a heart of gold. Which often I do not see and moan at him when he is just trying to help. 

This month I have had a bit of a shake, I realised how selfish I have become in what I expect and trying to change that. So far its worked out great but we move next week so time will tell how that goes. 

Me and You - August

This month had been extremely busy, both our birthdays and one of the children not as well as being involved in mission and community events we have been like passing ships. I really have missed my hubby and looking forward to our family holiday next week, our first time in over a month we can just relax and do nothing. It sounds bliss.

This months photos are from my birthday. We had gone to a restaurant and were treated really poorly so we went of to trusted ASK. I had a voucher so all was well. We had a great time together reminiscing about time before all the kids and my husband being embarrassing as always. It was alot of fun, excuse the poor quality photo, my phone broke and I have not got round to fixing the screen! doh!

The other photos some man photo bombed it was very fuuny. 

Me and You - July

When I was younger I told my mum I wanted to marry and Italian so he could cook me spaghetti Bolognese. Funny that when I met my husband he told me that was his best dish, sadly I am still yet to try it!


I love the time we spend together, 

knowing
 how hard it is to achieve this I cherish every minute with my husband.

We laugh, we have fun, we just act like its me and him. 

Its great and we don't do it enough.

Me and you - June

Some days are lovely, some days are a battle but most days I feel so darn blessed that I married such an awesome person. Every month I seem to write a little poem, slushy love story but that's only because I appreciate everything he does for us. I do not tell him enough and I am quick to point out his faults, but I am trying to do less. Trying to point out the positives and less the negatives.In a day an age where marriage is not something of great importance I strive to try harder. I see old couples been together decades and I want that. I love to see the little looks, the old jokes and the feeling of complete adoration for the one you love. Also the stories of the couples that when one passes the other does of a broken heart. So another month down the line here we are me and my man, being silly just the two of us.

This one he kept on pulling my top down for a laugh? Such a joker

Just after this photo a man fell out a truck before us, he was fine it was hilarious!

Me and you - May

Sometimes we go through busy seasons, weeks fly by and we finally realise maybe we haven't invested much into our marriage. Not intentionally but just with life. Our Marriage is worth spending time with each other, worth fighting for. Not saying that we struggle I think all marriages do but sometimes we can be a little short, a little to harsh and then we notice that we need a night out, a coffee together just us, no kids. We love our kids don't get me wrong but I really cherish that time just the two. The two of us acting silly enjoying being carefree for a little bit.

 Dating we used to have a Monday night together, we would drive to Broadstairs and have a hot chocolate stay out till 2 just talking and planning our futures, planning how many kids what there names will be and where we live. Even a few years down the line we are not where we thought we may be. My photos this month have been on a date night we had recently, our 2nd since October so was really nice, we drove to Broadstairs with a take away Costa (how times have changed) and watched the moon rise. Talking with not one of us checking our phone, just the two of us.

My husband sure does make me laugh, he tries to embarrass me all the time constantly making awkward jokes in front of other people. I love that about him ( at times) people often comment that it is sweet that I find him funny when nobody else does. He is a special gentile man and unique, I remember thinking how lucky I was that he liked little single mum me but thats a story for another day. 

So here we are another month down

Me and You - April

This month my Husband was away for a few weeks serving at an event called Spring Harvest so talking to him was either later at night or sometime when he was free. I really miss him when he is away and sadly all the kids were ill whilst he was away so made it a little worse. Its funny it sometimes can only be when they are away you can see how much they actually do. I must make sure I let him know I may nag nag nag but I do really appreciate it. Sometimes when he is gone I watch videos of him short films he has made might be a bit sad but its become a little thing I do. 

Excuse the chest hair it wasnt a dodgy pic, he had just made a video for the children and was mid getting ready for the day and was running late. Also this month we finally went out on a DATE hurrah. Only to the local Indian but the time flew by and we went for a little walk hand in hand laughing like new lovers, it was SO nice. We had not been out for six months so was defo a special night.

Me and You March

Every now and again I realise how blessed I am. As much as I moan and ramble on about my husband I know how grateful I am that he is in my life. The other night we had a bad night with Little Bear and after going to bed at 2am after finishing some work he then got up multiple times and ended up with only 3 hours sleep. Sadly we still haven't gone on our date night but hopefully next week. He leaves us for a few weeks in April to work at an event called Spring Harvest I am going to miss him so so much, but as my mum always says when he is away absence makes the heart grow fonder!

So here is March, we used to do this alot when we first started dating, taking silly photos was good laugh. Got us talking about how much we have changed and what 3 kids does to you.  So here we are March already!

Me and You - February

Im well overdue a date with this man. 

I am not sure we have spent much time together recently.

None at all if its just us, I miss it so much, 

but I know its just a season, soon the kids will be older

Little bear will go to bed earlier and we can hit the town.

Do things we used to do, be teased by my husband and have a good laugh.

I suppose when we do finally get out it will be worth it. 

We can sit and talk about things that are not to do with the kids. 

I like the sound of it.

Me and You - January

I hardly ever get photos of me and my husband. 

Have tons of the kids but a handful of the two of us! 

So for a year going to attempt one photo a month just us. No kids nobody else just us, just the man I love and see us for us and not just mummy and daddy.

So this year I am going to attempt to join in the Me and you Linky over at dear Beautiful. 

This photo is so special, my husband was such a rock when I was doing my nursing training.

He would sit and read my work, support me after a rubbish shift and pick me up when I felt like jacking it all in. I really couldn't have done it without him. 

I love this man loads he really is amazing!
