IDO3d Vertical Design Studio Review

We recently got offered the chance to review the Ido3D vertical Design studio and I knew my son would be desperate to try it. He has seen it on the tv and always goes "Some of that stuff looks sick". The idea of drawing in the air is rather cool and personally I couldn't wait to try it out myself.

We were sent the Vertical design Studio set which retails on £24.99 and comes with 4 pens, a vertical light, two moulds and templates to design up to 20 different things. Obviously you dont have to follow the templates but they are there if your child need some guidance. The template sheet can help you make a helicopter, dinosaur and a bike.

It took Asti a little while to get to grips with the product but after a while he was practicing building towers. We then tried to make a dinosaur with that you follow the lines on the template. After a few attempts we realised we were not putting the gel think enough on the lines.

Asti aged Ten worked on making the dinosaur but gave up midway and was making towers. I took over and tried to make the tower a few times I make a mistake but it was easy to wipe of when you go wrong. We didn't make the exact dinosaur in the end but was fun filling out the lines.

For Asti he gave up interest which was a shame because it is quite fun. If your child loves craft then I am sure they would love this. The fact that you can draw 3D objects is quite fun you need to have a steady hand and a lot of patience so is much more suitable for an older child. My Ami who is 4 was desperate to have a go and she loved it too. She make al ot of shapes and even tried to write her name.

The set we reviewed is available for £24.99 and the IDO3D Pens are available on Amazon and several other retailers. Find out more here. While you’re checking out those retailers, be sure to take a look around the entire website. You’ll find 3D art tutorials, fun craft ideas, and information about some of the world’s greatest artists.

You can also connect with IDO3D on FacebookTwitterPinterestYouTube, and Instagram.

So have you missed me?

Its been a while hasn't it some how when you don't write for a while its rather hard to get back into the flow of things. I have had many unfinished blog posts that I have started over the last few months but haven't got round to finishing. So there is that little round up thought I would write a little positive post for us so you can see what we have been thankful for over the last few months. I have kind of been using Instagram as a micro blog which I enjoy doing but miss typing on a keyboard.

Ami Starting School

SO the big day has come my little four year old has started school. I was rather surprised that I didn't cry, I held it together and so far she is loving it. Everyday she is first up wanting to get dressed for the day. It has been lovely getting to hang out with Son Son on his own as its been our little trio at home for the past few years.

The Awesome Summer of 2016

We have had a busy summer with lots of mission and hanging out in parks ( not literally like as a creepy family on the swings all day long, we have done some events called Lark in the Park). Its been amazing adjusting family like to eating on disposable plate whilst the wind blows it away. We have also  spent a large chunk of the summer down the beach. We have been back crabbing  with the kids but sometimes they just weren't bothered and it was just me. The weather was awesome this year and I have some fond memories from the summer. We saw lots of beautiful skies at night and sat outside with a fire into the night. My little post here doesnt really got into much detail as I am trying to be brief and not ramble too much. I am defiantly ready for Autumn now though and purchased my first pair of fluffy leggings.

Yes we went on holiday back in June!!! How far away does that sound! We had a great week with boiling hot weather, we even managed a trip into Paris which was fun. I say fun I actually hated it but everyone else enjoyed it. We spent the whole week swimming and eating BBQ's everynight. We were a stones throw away from the beach and it was such a great week as a family. Ami learnt to ride a bike which was amazing at only 3 years old we can't get her to stop now.

Camping Times

We went camping a few times too which did involve 4am starts and very late nights, we purchased a massive tent so are now set for all future camping events. I do love camping and love the freedom the kids have when we go. I think the kids loved not having to wash for days and we enjoyed being out under the stars and toasting marshmallows in fires.

Birthdays

We celebrated 4 birthdays over the summer period of our littke family with Asti turning 10 and Ami 4 obviously mummy and Daddy had their birthdays too but we dont need to know how old they are right. Ami was ever so excited to get a bike and Asti a Ping Ping table.

New Season

I am still Nursing but have gone into a new shift pattern change. Its only the beginning of change but so far its not been too bad. I moved to working night shifts rather than days. I was dreading it big time applied for a ton of jobs but maybe this is just where I should be at the moment. I do feel the need for a change and just waiting for a good job to turn up. My original plan in my head was to go back to university next September to train as a school nurse maybe this may still be the case. Sad fact when writing this I was thinking of work and without thingking was about to write Privacy and Dignity maintained.... Rather random.

So here ends my little catch up I mean little its very hard to put 5 months in one post. If you want to find out what we get up to follow our IG club. I love Instagram stories at the moment too which are even more weird than you may expect. I hope to get back into regular posting again we will see its hard to bring myself back infront of the laptop which out getting distracted online shopping. So here I leave you with a sun set photo to end my random of random post.

10 years ago today I started going into labour. Little did I know what was in store, I didn't have a clue about parenting or being a mum. I didn't know how to do most things. A young teenager in trouble about to be given the most specialist of gifts. I still remember that weight of responsibility when I realised he was mine for life. It wasn't happy feeling it was "shit when will I go to toilet" sadly 10 years later they still don't leave me alone to go to toilet. He is a massive blessing to me and I hope he knows that. Being a single mum was tough but I wouldn't have had it any other way. He found us Matt to but that's another story. It's also my parenting eve can you believe I been doing this parenting job for 10 years that's double figures. Time is flying by seriously I want to find out where my crazy haired Aston toddler went. #astonistentomorrow #sobsob #tenyearsofbeingamummy

REVIEW : HALF-SHELL HEROES SQUEEZE EM'S

I still find myself singing the original Teenage Ninja Mustant Turtle song when ever I see them, I can't quite remember it and mainly I remember "Heros in a half shell Squeeze" I dont even think thats right.  With that its cool to see they have made a come back and my Eldest son has seen the films he thinks they are rather cool. We were recently sent the new Teenage Mutant Ninjer Turtle (TMNT) Half Shell hero Squeeze Em's to review.

Its aimed for children aged 2-4 and as soon as it came my Son Son was pining at the toy in the box desperate for me to get it out. The all of a sudden he pushed it and the toy burped and ever since then they have been inseparable. Son Son thinks its the most funniest thing ever also the fact that is eyes and tongue pop out of his face he really has taken a shine to it.

Its easy to play with and doesnt come with too many small parts making it a great superhero toy for small ones. Son Son has been known to out toys in his mouth still so I much prefer him playing with bigger toys. The TMNT Squeeze Em was a good size and not too heavy for Son Son too. He loves any action hero and its his first TMNT toy he has loved it.

The TMNT Half Shell Squeeze Em's retails at £24.99 and is available online. Its been a great competeion to see who can get the tongue out the furthest, so far Ami is winning she has slightly bigger hands.

Scootaheadz Dinosaur Timmy T Rex Review

There is one thing my children are really good at and its going really fast. Sometimes in the wrong direction but they love anything that aids it, that often involves scooters and bikes. We were recently offered the chance to review a Scootaheadz (see photo above). Son Son loves dinosaurs and he loves riding about. Sadly our scooter was to clunky for it to fit on but it fitted perfectly on Son Sons balance bike. Its so bright and cheerful makes his bike look super cool.

Attaching Timmy to the handle bars was a breeze the scootaheadz is made out of rubber so fits on to any T Bar handle bar. All it takes is three easy steps which are easy if you follow them. If your a rebel like me you will spend ages working it out then finding the packet and realising it was super easy to put on. A top tip is to wait till the Scootaheadz is room temperature or warmer as it is easier to put on.

Son Son loved it and kept on roaring like a Dinosaur (if they did nobody knows). I think it makes the balance bike look much more personalised. It came off once sprung our trip only because of a jealious older sister who wanted it on her bike. The Scootaheadz is made for scooters which makes a scooter look much more cool than before. Its not just dinosaur Scootaheadz you can get a horse and unicorn design too. All the designs are just as bright and colourful too.

Scootaheadz retail at £14.99 and are available online and now at most larger toy shops. We personally love it well me and Son Son that is. Ami is rather Jealous she doesnt have one. Might have to buy her the unicorn one to keep hr quiet.

Teletubbies Po's Scooter and Helmet review.

Its funny when something from your childhood makes a big come back it seems to be happening a lot lately which is cool. My little ones love Teletubbies and we were thrilled to be asked to review the Po Scooter and Helmet. My little ones love to be on the move and never stop so it was perfect for them. The scooter is easy to put together and comes in three main parts, allan keys are provided in the box so after some gentle peer pressure from the kids I was off making the scooter. The Helmet also comes with a loop so you can look like Po (photo of the helmet at the end with Po attachment).

What I didnt realise is that the Teletubbies scooter came with some sounds too, in the garden I could hear this little voice and the kids laughing. There was me wondering what the noise was and it was in fact the scooter, which has two little buttons that make some Po sound effects. The bottom of the scooter has a picture of Po on the Anti-slip foot plate.

The Helmet and the scooter both has such bold and bright designs it will be hard not to be noticed when zooming around. All very iconic to the Teletubbies brand. The scooter has three wheels which are puncture proof too, the three wheels are perfect for little ones learning to ride a scooter for the first time as it does provide some stability. Son Son who is very confidant on a balance bike has yet to master a scooter this was perfect as it didn't keep on falling down and was always upright.

The Helmet is great too in helping to keep your child safe whilst on the scooter. Helps your little one think they are just like Po too. The Helmet comes with adjustable straps, quick release buckle and a ESP liner for added comfort. It is also super light so they almost forget they are wearing it. My little ones often complain to wear helmets for a long time so this was an added bonus to that. The holes in the Helmet make sure its well ventilated but poor Son Son that boy can sweat for England so was helpful in that aspect. Last not to forget the most important part the Po antenna which can be removed   but looks cool on.

My little ones have loved testing out the Po scooter and Helmet and has been a deffinite win in our house. The summer may be over but Autumn is a fantastic month to keep being active especially with a scooter at the park.

The scooter Retails at £29.99 and the Helmet £24.99 and available at the following shops

Very, Littlewoods, Tesco, TRU, Argos, Boots and Halfords
