I checked in the recent about us section to see that in fact, I stated that Asti was 8... when he is now 13!!<br />
<br />
So here we are 2020. In the most strange year, everyone all over the world has faced. We went from one week having all the kids at school and the next having to home school them. I am currently a neonatal nurse and have been moved hospitals and there is even the chance that I will be moved to an adult ward if needed. It's a scary time for all us working in the NHS.<br />
<br />
I thought now would be a good time to start with this little blog. Document this special time and remember the time when the world stood still and people fought over loo roll.<br />
<br />
Home Schooling is going somewhat almost nonexistent. I feel myself under a lot of pressure to do stuff and almost don't know where to start. I am struggling to provide the content and engagement of my children and feel sorry for my eldest who is in year 8. I am not strict about making them do much work. Take today they did 30 mins math, 30 mins English and that was it. I cried as I felt the pressure of it all.<br />
<br />
On top of that, I am still working as a nurse, my poor husband is attempting to work from home. He has his office set up in one of the kid's bedroom and the hardest thing is getting him to finish in time for the kids to go to bed. Although I am very grateful to be able to work and we both have our jobs, I know that's not the case across the country. Work for me is almost a break and I have never enjoyed it more. It is the only time I have away from the family and as stressful as work is I can't bring it home.<br />
<br />
On Sunday is my mothers 60th Birthday which should have been a special day with a lunch out and family time together but all that has been scrapped. My mother is a carer and is covering colleagues as who may be self-isolating themselves. It's a tough old time for everyone. I am gutted for her to be fair. Will get the kids to draw lots of pictures and we will post it round there for Sunday.<br />
<br />
So that's life at the moment. Poor kids who are wondering whats going on, why they can't see their friends. It's hard for them too and as much as I think these times are tough it's not forever,<br />

It is a complete playset with moveable figures and over 60 parts. The reason we like Schleich is that they are a such a trusted toy brand and all the figurines are hand-painted with amazing detail. </div>

As I was putting the Riders Cafe together it looked like some toy that I would dream of. The detail of the parts and the fact that is is inside and the outside too. The breakfast bar has such details right down to the breakfast bar which has mini glasses and coffee cups. The cafe is named 'Cup and saddles" which is cute.</div>
<div style="border: 0px; color: #4a4a4a; font-family: open-sans-1, open-sans-2, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; margin-bottom: 1.615em; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">

The box comes with two figures, Tom and Emily. Tom has striaght legs so cant ride the horses but Emily is posed in a seated postion to be able to ride the horses. It is a shame they both cant ride the horse and have Emily stand up too. The set up was rather simple with an instruction manual to guide you. IT was good fun building actually I did it when the kids were in bed in order to surprise them. When together the building is rather sturdy. The counter has a little oven that opens and a coffe achine and a till and even plates and miniature cups. For outdoor cafe play there is an A-board advertising the food with tables, chairs and even a parasol for the customers to relax under.</div>
<div style="border: 0px; color: #4a4a4a; font-family: open-sans-1, open-sans-2, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; margin-bottom: 1.615em; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">

I love all the horse accessories that come with the play set like the bridle, reins, trough and apples.</div>

MY children have used other figures in the cafe in order to make it busy. It has been out for a good few weeks and has been played with daily. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
When my children were all babies we always had a strong bedtime routine, not only did it help my own peace of mind but also helped the babies settle to sleep. Now working as a neonatal nurse I work in an environment where we have routines with our babies in order to make them feel safe. We were recently sent some products from the Baby Annabell sweet dreams collection in order to show my little ones bedtime routines and play there most favourite game of babies. </div>

<br />
We were sent a <a href="https://www.baby-annabell.com/en/baby-annabell/products/baby-annabell-43cm/?tx_annabellproducts_pi4%5Bpn%5D=702604&cHash=952ffe62fb4f902a56c510d75cf4d30f" target="_blank">Baby Annabell Little baby fun Doll</a> which was one in the collection that they didn't already have. The baby measures 36cm and is a lot smaller than the other baby Annabell doll. The doll includes a little romper, hat, bottle nappy and cloth, The nappy is reusable which I think is a great addition as won't lose the stickiness and good for the environment.<br />

We were also sent the baby <a href="https://www.baby-annabell.com/en/baby-annabell/products/accessories/?tx_annabellproducts_pi1%5Bpn%5D=700969&cHash=e52c25cc3365493066bef098e03793bc" target="_blank">Annabell Sweet dreams rocker</a> perfect accessory for any baby Annabell doll. Its stylish and light (it's even come camping with us for the little babies). It rocks side to side very smoothly and the little ones were over the moon to have somewhere to put a sleeping baby. Along with all those goodies we were also sent a little outfit to help them transition from day to night.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
When my children were babies I followed the same routine with all three of them, some slept betters than others but it always helped us unwind and help them to feel safe. They knew what was coming and always settled. It was a simple few steps that we could go anywhere.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Sb85_d8onqs/XRvDf-JBOlI/AAAAAAAALg4/JICni9XZUrEeCIzGvpej4QzEOGudZpnvwCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_1425.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1067" height="640" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Sb85_d8onqs/XRvDf-JBOlI/AAAAAAAALg4/JICni9XZUrEeCIzGvpej4QzEOGudZpnvwCLcBGAs/s640/IMG_1425.JPG" width="426" /></a></div>
<br />
The first step would be a bath, a lovely warm bath after dinner. After this would be a clean nappy and fresh PJs. This was always my favourite time when they are all fresh and clean and snuggly. It would then be milk time and a cuddle and story before settling them in their bed ready for the night.<br />

So I explained this to them and they wanted to play mums and dads. Ami decided to change the baby into her nighttime clothes and feed the baby before putting it in the rocker. They play this game all the time, feed and put to sleep. Its almost like they remember what happened to them as babies. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-79kh1um-D_Y/XRvD08zZi2I/AAAAAAAALhM/4G-X68zxwcQr1Pv6TiGBWzgJtcKSJDrgQCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_1393.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1067" height="640" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-79kh1um-D_Y/XRvD08zZi2I/AAAAAAAALhM/4G-X68zxwcQr1Pv6TiGBWzgJtcKSJDrgQCLcBGAs/s640/IMG_1393.JPG" width="426" /></a></div>
<br />
I love watching them role-playing being parents it always makes me feel a bit emotional how careful they can be. They take lots of care and always put there all into their little games. I hope that its learnt behaviour and they love babies so much they must get that from me because I do love babies (Hence why I work with babies).<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
We have had these toys for a few weeks and no word of a lie they have been playing with them most days. They Rocker is holding out even with sometimes having 4 babies in at a time. It's lightweight so they take it around with them easily. We have had lots of little ones be attached to the little Annabel too. She's not as big as the others we have so sat nicely when you hold her. I think I like her as she is more the premmie size I am used to at work.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

So here's a summary of our simple routine.<br />
<br />
<ul>
<li>Warm Bath</li>
<li> Fresh Pyjamas and nappy</li>
<li>cuddles and milk</li>
<li>Story </li>
<li>Place in the cot for bedtime. </li>
</ul>
<div>
Simple yet effective. It's been a pleasure to have the opportunity to play with these toys. We were sent these products in purpose of a review all content is my own. </div>

Well now you do and that day is today. We have decided to celebrate by reviewing some of the fantastic Glam goo products there is available (PS we were sent these to review). We were sent two sets the<a href="https://www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/boredom-busters-/slime/glam-goo-deluxe-pack/p/164727" target="_blank"> Deluxe Pack</a> and the <a href="https://www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/boredom-busters-/slime/glam-goo-theme-pack-confetti-slime-pack/p/164778002" target="_blank">Confetti Set</a> both sets contatining enough sparkles and slime to keep Ami entertained. <br />
<br /><br />
<h3>
<u>Confetti Set</u></h3>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-0x_VCfrlQg4/XI3OCMOcLbI/AAAAAAAALd0/pnfN8ozmm8YSOkE3PsiK7FyWbM88aFn5wCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_7633.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="300" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-0x_VCfrlQg4/XI3OCMOcLbI/AAAAAAAALd0/pnfN8ozmm8YSOkE3PsiK7FyWbM88aFn5wCLcBGAs/s400/IMG_7633.jpeg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="border-image: none;">
<br /></div>
<div style="border-image: none;">
If you have children at the moment then if you are like me you have been asked to make slime? If you are anything like me then you will find that you are awful at making slime and best stick to the people who know best. The first set we tried out was the confetti set which contains the ever so exciting fluffy slime. In the set comes lots of confetti and plastic balls to add into the slime too. </div>
<div style="border-image: none;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-nBucwCY8868/XI3OCbNl9pI/AAAAAAAALd4/r2PywNOCfYc26EdV5O0hxrDAaX2q50qFgCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_7639.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="480" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-nBucwCY8868/XI3OCbNl9pI/AAAAAAAALd4/r2PywNOCfYc26EdV5O0hxrDAaX2q50qFgCLcBGAs/s640/IMG_7639.jpeg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="border-image: none;">
<br /></div>
<div style="border-image: none;">
The set comes with all the added extras including dry paint to change the colour of the slime. Ami really enjoyed getting her hands messy and mixing all the different varieties together. We followed the instructions on the box that said if it was too sticky to add baking soda which made it into the perfect consistency. Lets not forget the scent too which made the slime smell lovely too. </div>
<div style="border-image: none;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-wcSmHbslSdo/XI3OCcW6kUI/AAAAAAAALd8/yfYXKilk_i0kZmsydeG8qTOMfSZtfSi3wCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_7663.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="300" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-wcSmHbslSdo/XI3OCcW6kUI/AAAAAAAALd8/yfYXKilk_i0kZmsydeG8qTOMfSZtfSi3wCLcBGAs/s400/IMG_7663.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="border-image: none;">
<br /></div>
<div style="border-image: none;">
The set comes with a little bracelet and a keying that can hold a little bit of slime in to. Although we did this and the slime fell out. This Confetti set retails at £15 and is a available in all toy shops. Ami really enjoyed mixing it all together and it wasn't as messy as I thought. </div>
<div style="border-image: none;">
</div>
<div style="border-image: none;">

<h3>
<u>Deluxe Pack</u></h3>
<br /><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-UHvTpdy72SA/WwfTgbG5epI/AAAAAAAALFk/OSXKkR_Nu443nPlTeDBOj-WbpkF7GFcsgCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_7060.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" height="426" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-UHvTpdy72SA/WwfTgbG5epI/AAAAAAAALFk/OSXKkR_Nu443nPlTeDBOj-WbpkF7GFcsgCLcBGAs/s640/IMG_7060.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br /><br /><br />
<div style="border-image: none; border: 0px currentColor; box-sizing: inherit; color: #56381d; font-family: "Open Sans", sans-serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
The Glam Goo set is perfect for all children (as long as they are old enough to know not to eat it) the idea of it is that you can personalise it by using sprinkles and colours to make it your own. Also comes with a scent to make it smell unique. The set comes with a large resealable tub of clear goo, a scent bottle, 3 sprinkle tubes, 2 tubs of coloured dust, a stirrer, a ring container and the bag container.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="border-image: none; border: 0px currentColor; box-sizing: inherit; color: #56381d; font-family: "Open Sans", sans-serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
The idea is to create your own goo and slime using the different components in the box. The set also comes with a leaflet that has some recipes inside. All the glitters come with different names and different colours and textures. Ami likes the colourful unicorn tears the most. Although she poured it all in one of the boxes in the sets by accident. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-_f5KlsBhG-s/WwfUGVM1ftI/AAAAAAAALGI/utleNnib7FUQemubb-yZ-GUv3DlxD1G2ACLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_7067.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" height="426" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-_f5KlsBhG-s/WwfUGVM1ftI/AAAAAAAALGI/utleNnib7FUQemubb-yZ-GUv3DlxD1G2ACLcBGAs/s640/IMG_7067.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="border-image: none; border: 0px currentColor; box-sizing: inherit; color: #56381d; font-family: "Open Sans", sans-serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">

<div style="border-image: none; border: 0px currentColor; box-sizing: inherit; color: #56381d; font-family: "Open Sans", sans-serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
The set also comes with a ring that you can fill with your favourite slime. Although when we put the slime in the ring it opened and spilt all over the carpet!! Thankfully wasn't too hard to clean up. The bag also allows you to seal your creations inside. </div>

I have to admit we found the glam goo very sticky although I did read in the leaflet that you can add some bicarb to change the texture. The kids had lots of fun playing with it and I have found bits of it all over the kitchen. </div>
<div style="border-image: none; border: 0px currentColor; box-sizing: inherit; color: #56381d; font-family: "Open Sans", sans-serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
Glam Goo (RRP: £29.99) is available at all good toy shops</div>

My younger two play babies all day Ami being the mum Son Son the Dad. They love all sorts of doll's so when we were asked to review some Tiny interactive dolls I knew it would be right up there street. </span></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">My Son Son loves puzzles, especially floor sized puzzles. Out of all of his toys and games, he always picks a puzzle, his favourite being a space ship one. So when we were asked to review a Thomas the tank engine puzzle I knew he would love it. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">The puzzle we were sent was a 24 piece giant Thomas the Tank Engine floor puzzle. Aimed at children aged 3 plus its the perfect size for smaller children. The puzzle is based on the latest movie Thomas in Big World Adventures. It shows Rebecca joining the Sodor steam team aka "Steamies" It features other favourites like Thomas, Rosie, Percy Gordon and James not to forget Harold the helicopter. </span><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">My kids have loved Thomas especially Ast who had all the toys and we spent hours watching the show when he was small. Sadly he is now 12 and is far too cool for Thomas the Tank engine puzzles. </span><br />

The colours are bright making finding the pieces easy for little people. The puzzle is made of good quality cardboard. It's strong and finished with a linen finish to minimise the glare on the puzzle. </span></div>

Seriously isn't it a Christmas tradition? Well, I just haven't been as I thought it may be something I wasn't interested in but I was so so wrong. Seriously everywhere you go its Panto season (oh yes it is). We were gifted some tickets to see the show and even meet Buttons and Cinderella at the end. Ami and Son Son were far too excited and inundated them with questions. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GpMHm_ysjx4/XBlhdmtu8-I/AAAAAAAALZY/yQ9x0vCswqEuPSfx2IneZCUZWg59bv_1gCLcBGAs/s1600/008_Cinderella%2BCanterbury%2BPanto_Pamela%2BRaith%2BPhotography.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="987" data-original-width="1600" height="394" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GpMHm_ysjx4/XBlhdmtu8-I/AAAAAAAALZY/yQ9x0vCswqEuPSfx2IneZCUZWg59bv_1gCLcBGAs/s640/008_Cinderella%2BCanterbury%2BPanto_Pamela%2BRaith%2BPhotography.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;">I have heard that the Marlowe theatre has a reputation of being one of the best pantos around and it was no exception we laughed from start to finish. My children came with me Ast (12) Ami (6) and Son Son aged 5 all came along too. Ast wasn't too sure being too cool for Pantomimes but he had such a good time. He said his favourite part was the pun jokes which since I have heard is a tradition at the Marlowe. The pantomime brings both the traditional story of Cinderella creating both old and new story together. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-KmDyZluB0dU/XBlhgTeVpJI/AAAAAAAALZo/cH78HxD8ly8APX-4ypB60uHW9RUp1Ov6ACLcBGAs/s1600/042_Cinderella%2BCanterbury%2BPanto_Pamela%2BRaith%2BPhotography.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1222" data-original-width="1600" height="488" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-KmDyZluB0dU/XBlhgTeVpJI/AAAAAAAALZo/cH78HxD8ly8APX-4ypB60uHW9RUp1Ov6ACLcBGAs/s640/042_Cinderella%2BCanterbury%2BPanto_Pamela%2BRaith%2BPhotography.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">The Panto had some things you would expect such as silly costumes, ghosts in the woods and songs to sing along too. There are lots of highlights too including a real pony on stage which was Ami's favourite part. Also a very quick on-stage dress change with Cinderella which I thought was ever so clever. Let's not forget the wheelbarrow of puns which includes 35 Disney themed puns at a quick speed. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ZzDCjZ61kto/XBlhgb0pxII/AAAAAAAALZk/UOBxzpPHnEIxO-G6zuN_RMttolnIuCEhACLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_6320.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1600" height="640" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ZzDCjZ61kto/XBlhgb0pxII/AAAAAAAALZk/UOBxzpPHnEIxO-G6zuN_RMttolnIuCEhACLcBGAs/s640/IMG_6320.jpeg" width="640" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">My children were excited too because Mister Maker (Phil Gallagher) was in the panto too. He was hilarious in the show and even came up with some on the spot jokes which made the show even more fun. Other stars include Ben from Eastenders and Cories Sally Linsay. Other actors from the Westend (although they don't like to talk about it). Let's not forget the aerial silk display which my children were on the edge of there seats for. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Q5EdiUA86d0/XBlhflAsCvI/AAAAAAAALZg/qv3KTPrpkLsbuNEzpdE4oaEbyKqRlwJ4wCLcBGAs/s1600/028_Cinderella%2BCanterbury%2BPanto_Pamela%2BRaith%2BPhotography.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1013" data-original-width="1600" height="404" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Q5EdiUA86d0/XBlhflAsCvI/AAAAAAAALZg/qv3KTPrpkLsbuNEzpdE4oaEbyKqRlwJ4wCLcBGAs/s640/028_Cinderella%2BCanterbury%2BPanto_Pamela%2BRaith%2BPhotography.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;">One of my favourite things was the hilarious comedy Dames Donaldina and Melania. The ugly sisters in Cinderella. They provided some wonderful costumes and witty jokes. The timing was just perfect and they really made the show in my book. They even picked on a poor audience member which we all found hilarious. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-nERpQwLRzHI/XBlhfL9LF-I/AAAAAAAALZc/hYUy0LhuILEN8VyGCvHX3kAR5litYsh4gCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_6317.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="480" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-nERpQwLRzHI/XBlhfL9LF-I/AAAAAAAALZc/hYUy0LhuILEN8VyGCvHX3kAR5litYsh4gCLcBGAs/s640/IMG_6317.jpeg" width="640" /></a><span style="font-family: inherit;"> By the end of the show, we were all standing in our seats having a dance. For me it as the best show I have seen in a long while. We laughed throughout and even Son Son stayed put on his seat which is no mean feat. Check out the <a href="https://marlowetheatre.com/shows/cinderella-2/" target="_blank">Marlowe website</a> and see if there are any cheeky tickets left as its running until the 6th of January or if not why not book for next years mother Goose. </span><br />

<span style="font-family: inherit;">There's one thing I have to admit to not doing in my adult life and that's a 1000 piece puzzle. Don't get me wrong it's not because I have been too snooty or anything just has never crossed my mind. When I was contacted to review a 1000 piece puzzle and after my last 1000 piece puzzle I thought why not. It was something me and Asti did together and both enjoyed spending our evenings working on a puzzle together. We have been sent the collectors Cupboard by Ravensburger. The puzzle is a cupboard full of collectors pieces from shoes to buttons it has it all. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-61CDUsSpSdA/W_0o4gJ0djI/AAAAAAAALYg/0gmaiEDwkcUxtPjwOvNT9X-ZHhdR4o_DgCLcBGAs/s1600/image001-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="273" data-original-width="360" height="484" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-61CDUsSpSdA/W_0o4gJ0djI/AAAAAAAALYg/0gmaiEDwkcUxtPjwOvNT9X-ZHhdR4o_DgCLcBGAs/s640/image001-2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Having been a complete puzzle beginner ( I have only done one 1000 piece before) I have found I love completing a puzzle. I must have spent nearly a week sitting at the table in the evenings and my days off. I am clearly not that quick but it was very good to relax me after a busy day. I also found that the time just flew by and some nights I was staying up late because I lost track of time.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">This time Asti was keen to help like he did the last. I found that sometimes he would come down early to help and we would chat about our day. Being the eldest of three he has two younger siblings who usually take a lot of my time in the day. We both got small satisfaction when we found the right pieces and the collector's cupboard started to take shape. We found all the easy parts first then it all started to come into shape. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-rWgH_QzZDsk/W_0pRlvMdPI/AAAAAAAALYw/Q5PjZfJ2pcw1ViyyztiBkf9kF29QtquVgCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_5675.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="480" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-rWgH_QzZDsk/W_0pRlvMdPI/AAAAAAAALYw/Q5PjZfJ2pcw1ViyyztiBkf9kF29QtquVgCLcBGAs/s640/IMG_5675.jpeg" width="640" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">To start off with it was something me and my eldest would do in the evenings. In fact, he would come off screens early to help. I googled how long a 1000 piece puzzle took and it said 5-6 hours, whereas I can say it took us well over 20. There is so much going on in the puzzle so it makes it interesting and if what a little bit more difficult. </span><br />

There are lots of puzzles in the Curious Cupboard series there are plenty of other jigsaw puzzles to choose from. They make perfect presents which </span>are<span style="font-family: inherit;"> something I didn't think I would ever say but we really enjoyed these puzzles. For me and Asti its something to do when the nights are dark and long. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;">My eldest son has ADHD so the puzzle actually had a calming effect and I actually saw him yawn which is something he never seems to do. It really helped him relax and calm down from a busy day at school. For me, I found my self-completing parts throughout the day, then getting lost in time and being late for things.</span><br />

<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-z_rYxzpCS1w/W_sPIrL4kfI/AAAAAAAALXU/FOsnZ0e1IH8nMtt7uAG7g30hCoJrKBYBgCLcBGAs/s1600/P1180015.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-z_rYxzpCS1w/W_sPIrL4kfI/AAAAAAAALXU/FOsnZ0e1IH8nMtt7uAG7g30hCoJrKBYBgCLcBGAs/s400/P1180015.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Sometimes the kids get sent something that really appeals to me. Ami recently got sent the Milly feels better doll from baby Annabell collection. Ami was overjoyed as she had seen it on the adverts and thought it was something that her mummy does at work. If you are an avid reader of this blog or more my social media you would know that I am a neonatal nurse and spend my working days cuddling babies ( not just that but making them better for home). i work in my local special care unit which Ami absolutely loves. Ami enjoyed being a nurse when baby Milly came.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-p_gz5SIX8EQ/W_sPOwpm_ZI/AAAAAAAALXY/x3D-3LBzfRMuwLuSOXNQUQwMOzQMS15KQCLcBGAs/s1600/P1180019.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-p_gz5SIX8EQ/W_sPOwpm_ZI/AAAAAAAALXY/x3D-3LBzfRMuwLuSOXNQUQwMOzQMS15KQCLcBGAs/s400/P1180019.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Baby Milly is one of the new dolls in the Annabell collection, she has something a bit different to the rest as she gets poorly. She comes with five accessories that include a stethoscope, medicine powder , thermometer and syringe. She also comes with an outfit and hat too. She needs a couple of batteries (not included) so as soon as she came the kids were desperate to get her working.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-71OoLGuvzUo/W_sPRiqozII/AAAAAAAALXc/LwLDYGK9hQkf5Y8_HrSEcuRGDTSDGnU9wCLcBGAs/s1600/P1180026.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="480" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-71OoLGuvzUo/W_sPRiqozII/AAAAAAAALXc/LwLDYGK9hQkf5Y8_HrSEcuRGDTSDGnU9wCLcBGAs/s640/P1180026.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Ami was excited as Milly comes with a stethoscope and she has seen those on the cots at the neonatal unit. Milly is educational and the idea is that you can make her feel better again. One feature we loved was when she is poorly her cheeks turned red and she does a funny cry. You can then use the thermometer to take her temperature, use the stethoscope. Then you can give her some medicine via the spoon and she stops crying and her cheeks go to normal colour. Milly Will start to feel better again. She also comes with an injection too if that ill.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4384J8q7pIU/W_sPUZejQSI/AAAAAAAALXg/RnrW7r_eq_wG9CmQ8RR3zGMV-792LNEPwCLcBGAs/s1600/P1180035.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="480" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4384J8q7pIU/W_sPUZejQSI/AAAAAAAALXg/RnrW7r_eq_wG9CmQ8RR3zGMV-792LNEPwCLcBGAs/s640/P1180035.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Like most Annabell dolls her eyes open and close when she is laid down. She also laughs when you tickle her too which is a great feature if pretending to make them better. Ami was over the moon and we have played doctors and nurses over and over again. She is desperate for a proper cot and even asked for that big one she saw on the neonatal unit. The other day I took her around my work and she told the staff all about her baby who she makes better. She was so proud telling them how she made them better. They then said she could work there and she was ever so pleased.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-iq3s5VW7hX0/W_sPWuvo6WI/AAAAAAAALXk/r1kzB_bj8gcIHU_7kyzgnnDcfuRKuNd7ACLcBGAs/s1600/P1180027.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="480" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-iq3s5VW7hX0/W_sPWuvo6WI/AAAAAAAALXk/r1kzB_bj8gcIHU_7kyzgnnDcfuRKuNd7ACLcBGAs/s640/P1180027.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
That's why I love the Milly feels better doll. It brings my work home in a good way. I can show Ami what I get up to and we can play together. Ami is always asking me about the babies and if they were boys and girls. Its true to say we both love babies ( don't get any ideas my shops shut to more babies).<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-1uSOL_xcQgs/W_sPdXlUP1I/AAAAAAAALXs/HJi4C8wd7H8ajcgeiGI_kqjeHSGWNSVxwCLcBGAs/s1600/P1180057.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="480" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-1uSOL_xcQgs/W_sPdXlUP1I/AAAAAAAALXs/HJi4C8wd7H8ajcgeiGI_kqjeHSGWNSVxwCLcBGAs/s640/P1180057.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Milly Feels better Doll retails at £35 and is available at most toy shops. She is such good value for money and does a lot to keep all doll loving fans pleased. Its a perfect gift for any child this Christmas.<br />

We were recently sent some Orbeez. I don't know if you have seen them around but they are all the rage with my kids at the moment. They also love anything that comes in some kind of blind bag surprise form, they also love anything that they have to open by taking packaging off. </div>

The Orbeez come in a globe form. They are filled with clear Orbeez so you cant see which figure you have in your globe. It works by taking the packaging off then unscrewing the top and pour a little bit of water in the top. As the water goes in the orbezz become more invisible and show which creature you have. </div>

<span style="font-family: inherit;">They are great pocket money treats and my two loved them. You can play with the toy over and over again as long as you keep the </span>orbeez<span style="font-family: inherit;"> sealed they should last a while. My kids took them out and make potions and other things with them. The </span>orbeez<span style="font-family: inherit;"> cost £5.99 which are a lot cheaper than other pocket money on the market. They will also make perfect stocking fillers at Christmas too. </span></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
My daughter loves unicorns and all magical creatures. She loves anything to do with pretend play and also loves animal figures. She recently made a museum of her animals based on our local museum that has a massive range of stuffed animals.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-EpPO-aB9EdA/W3qJwPrPFiI/AAAAAAAALSE/rFmM0oJtLoMHavctZ968Nf6tPUBz7-90wCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_4643.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="480" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-EpPO-aB9EdA/W3qJwPrPFiI/AAAAAAAALSE/rFmM0oJtLoMHavctZ968Nf6tPUBz7-90wCLcBGAs/s640/IMG_4643.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
We were recently sent some of the Schleich Bayala range, which as you can imagine Ami was over the moon about. We have quite a few other Schleich toys and have found the quality toys and love the fact that each one is hand painted. Which when you see the toy up close you can see how much detail has actually gone into the toy. The toys have glittery paint which is always a win in our house. Along with unicorns, there is also elves and fairies in the collection too. </div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
We were sent the Stallon and the mare from the collection, both the figures are decorated beautifully with lovely flowers, gems. The Mare has jewellery on her body the colours are beautiful along with a trademark unicorn horn. The stallion has beautiful blue wings and glitter. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

They are sturdy toys and made to last, it doesnt make me feel so bad when the toys aren't made of tatty cheap plastic. The fact that they are handmade makes it that extra special you can tell that a lot of attention has gone into the toys. Its perfect for any child who loves pretend play.</div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
All in all, we loved the Baylala range. Both the figures are beautiful and not only a toy but a beautiful ornament for a shelf (or a museum collection of your like my daughter). Both the figures retail at £14.99 and available at most toy shops.</div>

<br />
Seriously who doesn't love the Teletubbies? Just look at them they are sooo cute. My kids love them there favourite being the baby in the sky for some reason. So with that, we are off to watch the Teletubbies live show at the Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury. The children have been to the Marlowe before to watch the Christmas panto so I am sure they will have a great time watching the <a href="https://marlowetheatre.com/shows/teletubbies/" target="_blank">Teletubbies live</a> (now we just need to get my husband round to the idea of it too)<br />

The Tour has been going around the UK for the last year or so and have finally made it to a theatre near us. Teletubbies is based for any age from babies to Pre-schoolers. It is a great show to take your little ones to as everyone is in the same boat with fidgety children. I am looking forward to not telling them to sit still and be quiet. I can imagine everyone is in the same boat just looking for something to do that the kids will love. I am sure my two will love i when there are songs and dancing.<br />
<br />

<br />
If your little ones like the Teletubbies then it is one to try or even as a chance to take them to the theatre for the first time. It's short and just the right amount of fun for a great trip out.<br />

My children have been kept busy this summer with a wild range of toys. Not only has it been Amis birthday but she also has been sent lots of wonderful toys. One of Ami's favourites has been some toys from the Vapirina set. If you are not aware of Vampirina its a animated series on Disney Jounier. Its based on a vamire eho is also a ballarena. Its based on Vapirina who along with her family run a B&B guest house for ghouls and other monsters. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
With that we were sent the Vapirina Bootastic Backpack aling with Poppy (one of yhe other characters in the show) sooter. Both Ami was ever so excited with she loves anything to do with bags so the idea of a toy she can play with and espeically show her love for school with she was going to love.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The Boo-tastic Backpack includes the backpack that is similar to the one in the show. Vampina is very funky and wears spider web glasses that are contained in the bag set. In the set there is also a necklace with sounds and lights, bat shapped har clips, key ring that attaches to the bag and some stickers. The great thing is that they can all be stored in the bag too. </div>

The backpack is made of plastic and the straps are adjustable. It opens at the back and can store quite a few little bits. I dont know if you have children like mine that take the most random of toys around. Ami loved the bat hair clips along with Son son who didnt want to miss out. Ami loves dressing up so the glasses were a great addition to aid role play. They loved the skull necklace that played sounds when pressed. </div>

We were also sent the figurine set, there is two in the collection Vamprina and a Poppy set. Both sets come included with a litte furry animal. We were sent the Poppy and Wolfie set. The sets contain a scooter, a figure, pet and skateboard (for the pet). They both attach together so in our toy Poppy could scoot along with her dog Wolfie. The figures can easily slot into the scooters as have a static base. Poppys ars are movable along with her heads. Its easy to put her on the scooter along with wolfie. </div>

<span style="font-family: inherit;">My kids love any kind of squishy toy at the moment. It seems to be the latest craze with my daughter she is obsessed. She has a few random ones like a carrot and unicorn rainbow one, so when we were asked to try out the Smooshins Surprise maker kit I knew it would be right up her street. You may be wondering what we are going on about but the Smooshins helps you to make your own squishy figures again and again. </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-V9HCIXmjaVU/W3H3edjNXrI/AAAAAAAALO0/g1THSTPw_C8HWFf6cUNtAjMjLhXknAiBACLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_8295.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" height="426" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-V9HCIXmjaVU/W3H3edjNXrI/AAAAAAAALO0/g1THSTPw_C8HWFf6cUNtAjMjLhXknAiBACLcBGAs/s640/IMG_8295.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="border: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; color: #777777; margin-bottom: 20px; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Our Top tip before starting is to read the instructions. I thought I had read them but then found even more instructions in the box and found out we had done it wrong in the first place. The first Stage is to pop the colour pouches which you should set a timer as you only get 90 seconds to mix the mixture </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-j8RobV1Be7o/W3H3ty82mBI/AAAAAAAALO8/CH3UEavVV5AAb7TG27_r7Y5db-66clPzwCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_8298.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" height="426" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-j8RobV1Be7o/W3H3ty82mBI/AAAAAAAALO8/CH3UEavVV5AAb7TG27_r7Y5db-66clPzwCLcBGAs/s640/IMG_8298.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="border: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; color: #777777; margin-bottom: 20px; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="border: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; color: #777777; margin-bottom: 20px; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">The colour pouch then gets placed in the surprise maker and you squeeze all the contents into the mould. It then locks and won't open for 4 hours. We did ours in the evening and left it overnight for better results. once the mould is ready you can choose the pieces to go with it in the surprise bags. Also provided is a stand.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/--rvd5Pz3LsQ/W3H30VjG4TI/AAAAAAAALPE/0doNeRoKFuU5k8ZWZwY0pURQ8TKyI9qwgCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_8301.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" height="426" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/--rvd5Pz3LsQ/W3H30VjG4TI/AAAAAAAALPE/0doNeRoKFuU5k8ZWZwY0pURQ8TKyI9qwgCLcBGAs/s640/IMG_8301.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="border: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; color: #777777; margin-bottom: 20px; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="border: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; color: #777777; margin-bottom: 20px; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">We didn't realise that you could only make one at a time so stupidly mixed two packs and one was wasted. My kids did enjoy the Smooshins Maker as they love surprises. They like the surprise of not knowing what mould was in the kids and the pieces provided. The great thing is that the moulds are encased in an egg so you don't know which one is inside. Also, you can create up to 10000 different characters with 6 different colours and all the accessories. </span></div>

<br /></div>
<div style="border: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; color: #777777; margin-bottom: 20px; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">The Smooshin Surprise maker kit contains 2 surprise moulds, 4 colour pouches and 4 sets of body pieces. The set comes with 4 colour moulds but they can be purchased separately to make more. </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span style="font-family: inherit;">All in all, make sure you read the instructions carefully before starting. Ami did need some help pushing the mixture in the maker set as it was quite tough to start off with. The first time we did it we let it go longer than 30 seconds and it was very hard to push through. Our end results were not perfect, to be honest, but Ami loved them. She has taken them to show her friends her all want to make them themselves. </span></div>

<span style="font-family: '.SFUIText'; font-size: 17pt;">Did you know it was National Doll day on the 5th? </span></div>
<div style="color: #454545; font-family: '.SF UI Text'; font-size: 17px; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal; min-height: 20.3px;">
<span style="font-family: '.SFUIText'; font-size: 17pt;"></span><br /></div>
<div style="color: #454545; font-family: '.SF UI Text'; font-size: 17px; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;">
<span style="font-family: '.SFUIText'; font-size: 17pt;">Well, we did of course... we celebrated like we do every day with me pretending to be the Nanna whilst Ami went to work and I was left with the baby dolls. Often during the day, I get a call to say the dolls are having a sleepover and she’s off out with her friends. Obviously if your reading this it’s all make-believe and my 6-year-old daughter does not work or have a better nightlife than me but she likes to pretend she does. I enjoy it when my mother comes round as I say give the baby to great grandma, she loves that.</span></div>
<div style="color: #454545; font-family: '.SF UI Text'; font-size: 17px; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal; min-height: 20.3px;">
<span style="font-family: '.SFUIText'; font-size: 17pt;"></span><br /></div>
<div style="color: #454545; font-family: '.SF UI Text'; font-size: 17px; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;">
<span style="font-family: '.SFUIText'; font-size: 17pt;">As I digress into our endless play of dolls we were sent the very important doll that’s been very sought after in our house... drum roll, please... it’s the Baby Annabell brother interactive doll. Ami has been after this and it was top of her birthday list (she’s been planning her birthday for months). She had seen it on adverts and really wanted the doll. Obviously, she has tons of babies what can be so special about another doll.</span></div>
<div style="color: #454545; font-family: '.SF UI Text'; font-size: 17px; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal; min-height: 20.3px;">
<span style="font-family: '.SFUIText'; font-size: 17pt;"></span><br /></div>
<div style="color: #454545; font-family: '.SF UI Text'; font-size: 17px; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;">
<span style="font-family: '.SFUIText'; font-size: 17pt;">We have the baby Annabell doll and Ami really enjoys playing with it. The brother doll is just the same and has all the same accessories that Annabell has but rather than striking blue eyes the brother doll has dark brown eyes. The heart on the tummy is also blue rather than pink. </span></div>
<div style="color: #454545; font-family: '.SF UI Text'; font-size: 17px; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal; min-height: 20.3px;">

<div style="color: #454545; font-family: '.SF UI Text'; font-size: 17px; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;">
<span style="font-family: '.SFUIText'; font-size: 17pt;">Baby Annabell’s Baby Brother is a rather cute doll, he looks great and he is interactive too. All he needs is three AA batteries. He comes with his own baby bottle which can be filled with water, a nappy, a dummy, bib and a little lamb locket with a photo of himself. Soft bodied with a hard head.</span></div>
<div style="color: #454545; font-family: '.SF UI Text'; font-size: 17px; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;">

<span style="font-family: '.SFUIText'; font-size: 17pt;">One of Amis favourite features is the fact that he actually drinks from his bottle. He even cries when it’s time to be burped and has some wind. He makes cute noises and even moves his mouth when you play with him. I find my self-rocking the baby and holding it like a real baby. He sucks on his dummy too which Ami thinks is the sweetest. He even blinks and shuts his eyes to sleep. </span></div>

<span style="font-family: '.SFUIText'; font-size: 17pt;">So when she found out that he actually pees she couldn’t fill that bottle up quick enough. All you do is fill the bottle up and feed he baby and when you're ready you press the blue heard on the tummy. Then he tiddles away. You can use a potty or even the nappy provided. </span></div>

<span style="color: #454545; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody;"><span style="font-size: 17px;">Ami and her best friend are baby mad. Literally, both absolutely adore babies. They both love baby Annabell too and between them have most properly all the collection. When we were asked to review an Annabell to celebrate friendship I knew they were the perfect pair. We were sent an interactive baby Annabell along with a card with friendship bracelets. I asked Ami who she wanted to give it too and her friend Milly was first on the list. </span></span></div>

One thing I love is how much they love babies, they both have the same doll and are sharing clothes and bottles. So off we went to the beach and we took Annabell and the card for her friend. They were both overjoyed and Annabell was dressed in a coat seriously that baby has a lot of clothes already. </span></span></div>

For my self if not anything else. They capture the first few months of me becoming a mum to a larger family. When I look back now I struggle to remember the kids as babies? what were they like and even what they looked like. I sometimes really miss logging everything but really have used Instgram more so for that. I will give you a little update (not that your bothered reading this but I might click on it in the future and think what was i doing in the summer of 69 urm... i mean 2018).<br />
<br />
Life is still rather busy as what it is with three children. We have had some rather large milestones in growing up across the board so I will mention each individually. The last few months have been a hard few months with behaviour and stress but we are ALL so glad its the summer holidays.<br />

<u>Asti</u><br />
<u><br /></u>
Asti has just finished year 6. We are all a bit relieved, to be honest. Ast was diagnosed with ADHD in April something we were all aware of and knew he needed more support. Sadly his school were completely the opposite and rather than putting coping strategies in place decided to put him in isolation. After a few incidents,s the school wouldn't even let him go to his leaver's party which was the final straw. I was in that office the next day to be told how the school hadn't failed my son, no he got fantastic SATS results. After a little while, Asti. They could not cope and rather than seek help just swept it under the carpet. Thankfully he moves on to a new school in September. I will be involved with the SENCO. So hopefully he can start to really enjoy school again and not feel so suppressed as he did in the other school.<br />

<u><br /></u>
<u>AMI</u><br />
<u><br /></u>
Ami has had a good year at school. She has really tried and there was a stage where she was miles behind everyone else but has really attempted to catch up. I'm very proud of her. It's her 6th birthday at the weekend and shes almost feral. She's getting more and more excited each day. Tonight she was almost unbearable with endless questions. She wants to know everything and we even sometimes have to slyly turn the radio off if the news comes on otherwise we will get a million questions about what happened. She never misses a trick and is always on the go and on the ball. She always needs to know what we're doing next. Shes forever asking whats next, I am really hoping by the end of the holidays she can learn to chill out a little bit.<br />

<u>Son Son</u><br />
<u><br /></u>
Son Son is due to start school in September, seriously though how is my baby old enough for school. He is still in the nursery so that will be sad when he has his last day in September. He has been at the same nursery since he was 9months and has really loved going there. I have no issues with him going to school, lots of his friends are going and he is rather laid back. Son Son is really into football at the moment and has recently joined a football club that he loves. He is forever putting in a slide tackle which he gets told off about but he loves it.<br />
<br />
<u>Me and the Other Half</u><br />
<u><br /></u>
<u><br /></u>
<br />
We are both in our jobs and have been there for a year. I am loving my job as a neonatal nurse it took a while but now I struggle on the adult wards and miss the babies. Its such an rewarding job I start a course at University in September not sure I am looking forward to all that studying again though. My husband is still enjoying his job and although struggles to get out of the self employed way and bring all your work home he is doing well. He now knows much more about digital media and is much more confidant in his role. Although life is busy we are often passing ships. He often comes through the door as I am leaving for work.Mummys little bloghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18023148457673694853noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6816951426082272646.post-38720901901975269872018-07-13T14:03:00.000+01:002018-07-13T14:03:16.990+01:00Shrek The Musical at the Marlowe Theatre - ReviewAs a teenager, I absolutely loved going to the theatre. I went on a coach trip to see We Will Rock You and I was gripped, I loved Drama at school and even played the Deamon Headmistress in one of our school plays. Fast forward a few years many children later I haven't been for years. We were asked to come along to see the award-winning show Shrek the Musical. I decided to take Asti as an end of Primary School treat and also a first time at the theatre.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-2Lgh2WLErDg/W0igKQXhjGI/AAAAAAAALK8/JIseqOXMUnU7ftlz1bwQ8rJqL0zS0c1cgCLcBGAs/s1600/0.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1216" data-original-width="1600" height="486" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-2Lgh2WLErDg/W0igKQXhjGI/AAAAAAAALK8/JIseqOXMUnU7ftlz1bwQ8rJqL0zS0c1cgCLcBGAs/s640/0.jpeg" width="640" /></a>The show is based on the hit DreamWorks film that believe it or not came out 17 years ago (seriously where has the time gone). Shrek the Musical is such a feel-good show for all the family. It's full of laughs and the underlying message that is that it is alright to be different.<br />
<br />
So off we went Me and Asti to the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury. I didn't know whether to take Ami and Sonny (aged 4 and 5) but thought with it being late they may not cope with the late night and also thought it would be a great chance for some one on one time with Asti. There were lots of families watching the show with small children and upon reflection they would have enjoyed it but we would have gone to a manatee performance.<br />
<br />
Heres a little back story on Shrek if you have been living under a rock in the last few decades. Shrek the Musical is set in a magical land where lots of fairytale animals live. Sadly ruling the land is the evil Lord Farquaad who takes a dislike to any fairytale creatures. Some of the people banished include Pinocchio, the three little pigs, red riding hood and other popular fairytale stars. Lord Farquuard banishes the poor creatures to Shrek's swamp. Shrek being an Ogre is not happy because he likes to live alone in the swamp. He then goes to visit Lord Farquuard to get the creatures out of his swamp where he then strikes a deal to rescue Princess Fiona from the swamp in return of getting rid of the creatures from his swamp. Little do Lord Farquarrd or Shrek know that Princess Fiona is hiding her very own secret too.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-EPpxkL-z2t0/W0igKfX__VI/AAAAAAAALK4/MLtHyUEdxuQGCLpBJRcx-jqGiGHjUF9yQCLcBGAs/s1600/Shrek-065.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="789" data-original-width="986" height="512" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-EPpxkL-z2t0/W0igKfX__VI/AAAAAAAALK4/MLtHyUEdxuQGCLpBJRcx-jqGiGHjUF9yQCLcBGAs/s640/Shrek-065.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
The whole show is full of such wonder and magic and myself and Asti were so amazed at the set changes too. Apparently, it took two days for the set to be set up which when you see it in real life you can see why. Right from the very start, we are drawn into a fairytale book and straight into music and dancing. The show is similar to the film with some of the same dialogue but has a lot of fresh current parts to it too. Like references to Brexit and love Island much to Asti's delight (the Brexit not so much the Love Island). We see more into the characters than the film and learn more about there backstories. The music is upbeat and catchy along with some awesome choreography too.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Playing Shrek was Welshman Actor Steffan Harri he did a great job of being Shrek and looking very much like Shrek and even sounding like him too. Me and Asti were impressed with the Shrek costume and how heavy it looked. Sheffan did a fantastic job at belting out the songs and even dancing. Princess Fiona was played by Amelia Lily whos fame came from X-factor some years back. She was hilarious. In other areas, Princess Fiona is played by Call the Midwife star Laura Main. Donkey-like in the film was fabulous and gave us some really good laughs. The Donkey was performed by Marcus Ayton who gave the Donkey an almost Camp side to his character.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-QD5Y8FdXwyk/W0igK9Mc-_I/AAAAAAAALLE/LGFiLssUtu4Rc69CgMTcLtuxzyqeiVlTACLcBGAs/s1600/Shrek-168.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="747" data-original-width="1120" height="426" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-QD5Y8FdXwyk/W0igK9Mc-_I/AAAAAAAALLE/LGFiLssUtu4Rc69CgMTcLtuxzyqeiVlTACLcBGAs/s640/Shrek-168.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Saving the best till last was mine and Asti's Favourite character Lord Farquarrd, he was absolutely hilarious what with cheeky looks and audience participation. Also, some cheeky jokes that the adults would get all in all made the show so good. He is also if you have seen the film rather small and the actor Samuel Holmes plays the park on his knees providing the audience with funny moments with his little legs. One thing that really impressed us was the dragon. A beautiful set piece that is carried around by four people who all work different parts of the dragon. She fills the stage and moves around with such elegance.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-wabZArCZnHg/W0iiBY-PuRI/AAAAAAAALLc/f3cszsghgdM-V5oXeZJR_cx3wJh89X-3wCLcBGAs/s1600/0-2.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1143" data-original-width="1600" height="456" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-wabZArCZnHg/W0iiBY-PuRI/AAAAAAAALLc/f3cszsghgdM-V5oXeZJR_cx3wJh89X-3wCLcBGAs/s640/0-2.jpeg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
The stage is colourful and so creative. The show provides some great dance numbers and like all fairy tales boasts a happy ending. It was the perfect introduction to musical theatre and one to rekindle my love of the theatre. Asti was over the moon it provided us with an evening of entertainment for something we wouldn't usually do. We would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a taste of the musical thertre.<br />

In our house we love BRIO, we were given a set when Aston was a baby it was a basic train set which was already 20 years old and we still have it today going strong. So when we were asked to review the <a href="https://www.brio.uk/products/by-age/3-years-and-up/sets/metro-railway-set" target="_blank">Metro Railway set</a> I knew we would not be disappointed.<br />

The Metro Railway set comes in 20 pieces which include a metro station which boasts sliding doors, tunnel, platform and passengers. The set also contains 7 wooden train tracks and a two-way junction. The set also comes with a metro train. The train has three carriages that open up and can sit the passengers in. The train also comes with lights and sounds.<br />

<br />
The lights and sounds are activated as soon as the train moves and an added bonus is that the train comes included with batteries already installed. The sounds are very much like a train rolling through the underground. One of Son Son's favourite features was the fact that you could sit the figures in the train.<br />
<br />

<br />
The set was easy to put together and Son Son who is four was able to put together without much help. You can play with the set on its own or it is compatible with other wooden train tracks. We also added some of the BRIO world sets and built some houses around the edges too. Then before we knew it was had extended the train track and had a whole village.<br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
The set is really good quality and you know it will be something that will last a long time. It also comes with a wooden ticket machine and maps to help aid imaginative play. One thing I loved about the set is how it was a modern twist to an old classic. Both Ami and Son Son enjoyed playing with the BRIO Metro Railway set and have got it out multiple times since.<br />

Slime is such a massive trend at the moment and we cant go into a shop without them begging for me to buy them some. I have attempted to make it a few times but we have never been successful. Thankfully we were asked to review the <a href="http://amzn.to/2HThv01" style="border: 0px; box-sizing: inherit; color: #006575; font-family: inherit; font-style: inherit; margin: 0px; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">Glam Goo Deluxe Pack</a> and I knew Ami and Son Son would love it. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-UHvTpdy72SA/WwfTgbG5epI/AAAAAAAALFk/OSXKkR_Nu443nPlTeDBOj-WbpkF7GFcsgCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_7060.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" height="426" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-UHvTpdy72SA/WwfTgbG5epI/AAAAAAAALFk/OSXKkR_Nu443nPlTeDBOj-WbpkF7GFcsgCLcBGAs/s640/IMG_7060.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

The idea is to create your own goo and slime using the different components in the box. The set also comes with a leaflet that has some recipes inside. All the glitters come with different names and different colours and textures. Ami likes the colourful unicorn tears the most. Although she poured it all in one of the boxes in the sets by accident. </div>

</div>

No. 16 The Wedding 1,000 pc Puzzle ReviewThere's one thing I have to admit to not doing in my adult life and that's a 1000 piece puzzle. Don't get me wrong it's not because I have been too snooty or anything just has never crossed my mind. When I was contacted to review a 1000 piece puzzle I originally thought it was a royal wedding edition. I had misread the email and just put wedding and royal and Prince Harry was the first thing to come to mind. Also if you want to celebrate the Royal wedding why not with a wedding puzzle. The puzzle was actually What If? No. 16 The Wedding edition.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zY3rPTH3bDE/WvnigMGv0BI/AAAAAAAALE8/HanG4ay6tg4p0aWgpvd149WE5EUrI8WFQCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_2780.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="480" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zY3rPTH3bDE/WvnigMGv0BI/AAAAAAAALE8/HanG4ay6tg4p0aWgpvd149WE5EUrI8WFQCLcBGAs/s640/IMG_2780.jpeg" width="640" /></a><br />
Having been a complete puzzle beginner (except kids ones I can knock those out the park) a 1000 piece seemed huge. Then I discovered this was a special puzzle the picture on the box was completely different to the one on the puzzle. The idea being behind it is that the picture on the box is the ideal wedding for the bride and inside is the Grooms idea of a perfect wedding.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-JMOrq21qMjo/WvnifT93DyI/AAAAAAAALE0/lgIbX8tVzJIi4FIjNmn9bLLFuYR2FxMAACLcBGAs/s1600/B64C0370-9910-4E92-99CC-C956081637D1.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="900" height="400" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-JMOrq21qMjo/WvnifT93DyI/AAAAAAAALE0/lgIbX8tVzJIi4FIjNmn9bLLFuYR2FxMAACLcBGAs/s400/B64C0370-9910-4E92-99CC-C956081637D1.jpeg" width="225" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
To start off with it was something me and my eldest would do in the evenings. In fact, he would come off screens early to help. I googled how long a 1000 piece puzzle took and it said 5-6 hours, whereas I can say it took us well over 20. That's because we didn't have the picture on the box obviously. I actually sadly really enjoyed putting the puzzle together. It gave such small satisfaction when we found the right parts than as we put more and more together seeing the picture in full.<br />
<br />

<br />
<br />
My eldest son has ADHD so the puzzle actually had a calming effect and I actually saw him yawn which is something he never seems to do. It really helped him relax and calm down from a busy day at school. For me, I found my self-completing parts throughout the day, then getting lost in time and being late for things.<br />
<br />

This puzzle is great fun, believe it or not, we got such triumph getting the correct pieces and completing the characters. We started it easy finding all the same colours and then the faces and before we knew it it was nearly done. The puzzle used fun and mystery making it more enjoyable. The Puzzle is available on most shopping websites and to find out more click thi<a href="http://What If? No. 16 The Wedding 1,000 pc Puzzle" target="_blank">s link</a>.<br />

<br />
There is one thing in our house that never gets old or boring for any age and that is bubbles. With the weather warming up ( well I say that we had storm weather that blew all the fences and broke all the beach huts thus week) Its supposed to be warming up anyway. We were sent some of Gazillions new Crazy Bubble wands to try. We have used Gazillion a few times and always found their bubble mixture to be the best by far so I was keen to see how these ones would be.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-aro4OlinT_c/WuhYpTXnN5I/AAAAAAAALCE/o8GFAN-QKswHiLl6oUjkPidzifAM7mNTACLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_6960.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" height="426" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-aro4OlinT_c/WuhYpTXnN5I/AAAAAAAALCE/o8GFAN-QKswHiLl6oUjkPidzifAM7mNTACLcBGAs/s640/IMG_6960.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
These are the perfect pocket money toys and even for days out. With all the extra bank holidays too they would be a great addition to any picnic. They retail at £3.99 so are an absolute bargain. Each set comes with two wands with a funny mouth on an 8oz bottle of bubble mixture and a dipping pot. We used to get the dippy wands but my kids are forever spilling the contents before they have had the chance to blow any bubbles. The little tray was a nice addition to help not spill so much bubble mixture.<br />

The funny and usual designs made blowing bubbles even more fun. Some were really easy to use the lips and bunny teeth versions. Some weren't as easy to blow bubbles from which was a tad disappointing. The kids enjoyed making funny faces out of them all the same. </div>

We have lots of babies but needed a baby Born doll to try (see the BABY Born little brother in review in a few days). Ami and Sonny are 3 and 5 so the shower is the perfect gift for any child at this age. For Ami she was over the moon she loves showers so for her to be able to shower her baby was really important. </span><br />

<div style="letter-spacing: 0.5px; line-height: 25.4px; margin-bottom: 9px; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">To be a little honest it was a little tricky almost a bit flimsy when putting together. It was quite easy to put together, but a tad little fiddly. All the pieces fit in quite easily but didn't quite stay in place. Thankfully Ami came along and helped with the peer pressure with getting me to hurry up. The Shower comes with a little towel and towel rail which we all thought was very cute. </span></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="letter-spacing: 0.5px; text-align: start;">The shower is easy to use, it comes with a doll holder that allows different sizes of babies to use. It's easy to use and works by turning the switch. There is a large drawer underneath that stores all the water. The shower door didn't always close so Ami and Son Son had great fun getting wet whilst using it. Their poor babies have all had a shower recently with the novelty of the new shower. </span></div>

I just wish I could be a child again, I used to love playing with my dolls but there was never anything quite this cool around 20 years ago. </span><span style="letter-spacing: 0.5px; text-align: justify;">I would highly recommend this product and for the price, it sells at I think it is brilliant value. The shower can be bought for £29.99 from most toy shops or you can order it online. </span><br />

Check out the blog tomorrow to see how we got on with the BABY born interactive little brother. It was like Christmas for my little two with the babies. I am not sure who likes babies more and now what else is on the list. Ami has her eyes on the Baby born toilet and with her birthday coming up its top of her list.<br />

<br /></div>
I don't know if your kids are obsessed with Slime but mine are at the moment. One thing we have never done is try to make it I for one thought it was maybe a little bit too hard for me. We were sent a kit from Gel a Peel to make some slime jars. So with that, I googled easy slime recipe and found one that actually worked using only two ingredients so read on to find out how we have done it.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-AKOn4gM54_s/Wrzae2M-dnI/AAAAAAAAK_Y/SUAD--eU9oAnzFaqg5LLBRMxh9pVFdd9wCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_2313.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="480" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-AKOn4gM54_s/Wrzae2M-dnI/AAAAAAAAK_Y/SUAD--eU9oAnzFaqg5LLBRMxh9pVFdd9wCLcBGAs/s640/IMG_2313.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
If you are a regular reader of our blog you will have seen us try out the Gel a Peel products a few times for different projects. One thing Gel a Peel is good to create a different texture and gives a good effect and finish.<br />
<br />

We tried a new Gold pack which I can tell you there was a few fights about who got to use the gold pen. <span style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times, FreeSerif, serif; font-size: 16.5px;">If you have not heard of Gel a Peel its a lot of fun. It comes in different coloured tubes and you can use it to make jewellery or as we done slime Jars. The wonderful thing is when it dries it becomes like a rubbery texture. Each set comes with different shaped nozzles that attach on the Gel a Peel tubes to create different shales and textures. The set comes with moulds that you can use to stick on your designs or make into creations themselves.</span><br />

It's very easy to use and my children love using the mould. It's very easy to use and comes with a squeegee to scrape away excess gel. It's best to do the moulds the day before as they take some time to dry. </span><br style="color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times, FreeSerif, serif; font-size: 16.5px;" /><br />

<h4>
<u>Easy two ingredient Slime Recipe</u></h4>
<div>
<u><br /></u></div>
<div>
The great thing about this slime recipe is that all the stuff is available in your home. </div>
<div>
All you will need for this recipe is - </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
- PVA Glue - 2 Tablespoons</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
- Washing Detergent - 2 Table Spoons</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
- Food colouring or glitter for decoration (optional)</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
This is it believe it or not. It was super easy to make actually I was surprised especially as I had heard horror stories from other people. All you do is mix both together until it creates a gooey consistency. We added glitter and colouring too to make it more exciting. It worked well as slime and ticked the boxes in the right places for them. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6zrNYogCRoI/Wrza0NuolzI/AAAAAAAAK_o/mszaYQxwFY4t-rm3hTTQ0dv3IujiQGClwCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_2330.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="480" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6zrNYogCRoI/Wrza0NuolzI/AAAAAAAAK_o/mszaYQxwFY4t-rm3hTTQ0dv3IujiQGClwCLcBGAs/s640/IMG_2330.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
They then filled the jars they made and won't let us throw them away. </div>

Check out Gel a Peel Available in most Toy retailers. The set we use retails at around £19.99 </div>

So thankfully we were sent anther puzzle for his collection A giant Gruffalo floor puzzle for him to try out. As soon as it was out of its packaging he was away putting pieces together desperate to complete it. <div>

The puzzle is aimed at children aged 3 plus and has 24 pieces. Son Son had no trouble putting it together and required little help from me. The pieces are sturdy and strong so able to out up with sometimes the forceful placement of puzzle pieces by Son Son. The shapes are also all odd shaped, making it a bit different to the normal suqare puzzles. </div>

The puzzle is in the shape of the gruffalo and has lots of fun coulours round the edges along with sentances from the story around the edge. Son Son loved to spot the animals in the puzzle along with the colours. </div>

The pieces fit nicely in the box too making it easy to store away. They are also large meaning thety wont get mixed up with other jigsaws so much. </div>

The puzzle is aimed at children 3 plus and retails at £9.99 which I think is a bargain. Son Son did the puzzle with ease so we look forward to trying more puzzles aimed at 4 plus too.
