Y is for yuckiest

Living by the sea is rather cool but when you grow up by the sea you do become rather fussy ( well thats my case). We have moved a ten min walk from my childhood beach, which no other beach will ever compare to really too many happy memories to not love it so, even my husband knew this that's why he asked me to marry him there. This is our new beach it was rather yucky, we had to fight through swarms of flies to get to the yucky seaweed. Me and Little bear stayed on the slope (with the flies) whilst Ami explored the new beach. She then told me that Seaweed smelt like poo in which she did have a vaild point.

Can not believe next week is week Z what will  I do every Wednesday soon!

N is for night time strolls

Ok early evening/ nighttime what ever you may call it, it was past the kids bedtimes so it deffo was nighttime in my books. It was a lovely warm evening and something we love to do, walk along the beach after having a cheeky ice cream. I hope that lovely warm weather comes back, we love the beach.

I also love this photo not sure why, just shows me and my children as us. Mummy and her little babies.

M is for Mission ~ Alphabet Photo Challenge

Nothing is more exciting and satisfying than helping out on mission and even as a family of five we love being a part of our community. We want to give generously to our local area so in return host an ten day event. This event that we volunteer at its called Lark in the park and sees thousands of people come through the gates and enjoy lots of free actives, from toddler clubs to evening entertainment. We are currently in the middle of Lark  in the Park Sidcup and head home to start Ramsgate one, life is busy and my kids have constant dirty feet but we are having a lot of fun. Below is some of the fun we get up too.

L is for lazing

All this warm weather lately has been lush (another L, see what I did there). We have thoroughly enjoyed being able to play in paddling pools and spending lots of time outside. So here is Ami and here two little friends enjoying a bit of lazing in the pool. Well to be honest they were so excited one of them took their nappy of and then they all followed suit.

K is for Kicking - Alphabet Photo

In our house my husband and son are huge football fans, it would only be natural that Ami would follow suit and with initials AFC she kind of is forced to. Ami is nearly 2 and already has excellent ball control and can tackle her big brother. I was surprised how well she was playing, Pants was pleased as he finally had someone to play with. Her is some shots of her kicking the ball in her cute toddler way.

I is for inspect the land - Alphabet Photo challenge

When looking for a good place to place its good to stand back and inspect the area to play in. You need to see if there is good enough places to hide from mum, run down steep hills and find lots of stones and throw them. Need to inspect the land to find out if its unsafe and if so run ahead and play whilst innocent old mum tries and shoos the kids on to the lovely green flat grass, with no broken glass or dodgy looking rubbush This photo below did may me chuckle I was lost on what to do for the letter I for some reason, I looked on scrabble websites for inspiration (look andother one there) but it came to this, some reason Wednesday comes round so quick and I need to be more organised.

H is for How to give mum a heart attack

As a child I used to love to climb, living by the beach there was cliffs and walls that needed me to scale along, that was fun I didn't think much of it. Now I am a mother I can suddenly see all the dangers and have had my heart in my mouth for nearly eight years. I do not know where my kiddios get it from but they are fearless completely. I am usually a rather relaxed parent but when it comes to heights I am always a bit wary. I blame being a nurse and seeing serious head injuries but sometimes we can not wrap them up  in cotton wool and keep them in side, sometimes they need that bit of freedom to learn for themselves, they need to fall and realise it hurts.

This was my eldest Pants down at the beach, I looked round and saw him climbing the wrong way round on a bridge I told him to go back but he was halfway across so I decided to leave him and let him go over (whilst snapping away as we parents do!)

F is for Friendship

It has always been a love hate relationship with these two, being cousins and with being 8 months apart they have spent the last 8 years chasing, hitting, arguing and playing together. They love to spend time together and constantly argue. Me and my sister have been waiting for a time where the arguing isn't so much and they just get on, as they are getting older they are getting a bit more chilled out. They will be in the same school again from September with Pants moving to junior school so they will see a lot more of each other then and hopefully the craziness when they haven't seen each other will subside (one hopes).

E is for Emotion - Alphabet photo challenge

These photos where taken over a really short period, my dearest little son does have a range of different emotions, one moment he is happy, the next frustrated, the next happy again. It can be so funny to watch. He is taking everything in from his older siblings, copying the noises they make and just wanting to be like them.

He makes me feel emotional too, every new milestone fills me with joy and pride. Even though he is my third it still doesn't change, that happiness I feel from seeing him do something new is as rife as it was with my first, I now just hope it doesn't come round so fast as it does!

D is for Dunk - Alphabet Photo Challenge

Well who doesn't love a good dunk, not the basketball kind, although teenage men thought I was the don at netball (I was actually rubbish but nobody had the nerve to tell me). In our house we love nothing more than a hot tea and biscuits. So what more fitting for the letter D in the alphabet photo challenge for the letter D than dunk. This is my little Ami dunking in her hot tea cup as she calls it.

C is for Camping

So this past weekend we were camping at a festival was a lot of fun and there was a lot of rain. On our last day whilst the site was getting packed down and my husband was busy putting marquees down in the rain, me and the children spent 7 hours just in the tent. All we had was some balloons, some wrestlers and colouring. It turned out to be a really nice day just playing together maybe help us be more intentional in turning all the electronics of at home.

This photo was from our first night where it hammered down with rain all night. Not long after this my battery died so I didnt get photos to capture the fun we had! We had a lovely time beated being at home and Ami and Pants arguing over something special or minecraft!

B is for Beach

Ok anybody who is a regular reader of this blog or knows me in person will know how much I love the beach. I feel at peace and often gives me a place to think and reflect. Not just that it is perfect place to get some fresh air, have a play and generally have a good time. My favorite beach is one a few beaches along from the one I live. Its called Minnis bay and it has the best sunset, I grew up here and have many fond memories here. Its also where my husband asked me to marry him, making me speechless for the first time you can read about it here.

Alphabet Challenge - A is For Amilinderville

We are going to atempt to take a photo every week to join in with Podcast's alphabet challenge. I couldn't not use my lovely daughter as the first week. She is amazing , astonishing and super awesome ( carrying on with the A theme there as I am just too cool). She hates the camera but will happily pose for a phone camera. She is lively but such a gentle spirit I look forward to seeing her as she grows up. Amilinderville is a name my husband gave my daughter as a lovely nickname and it has stuck.

So thats this week and easy choice for us next week is obviously B so will get snapping ready. Why not join in yourself bit of a laugh could even get the kids to help too!
