Week of Photos 15th Feb - 21st Feb

Monday 15th - Bat spiderman

We had a chilled out day at home, with it being the first day of the half term we kept it low key. This was Son Son enjoying being a super hero rather than a princess for a change.

Tuesday 16th - Train Journey Fun

We decided to go to Herne Bay on the train with my sister and her boys. The kids had a good time and even ended up in the arcade. Was nice to waste the day and it not be too pricey either (minus the arcades). We ended the day with a trip to costa coffee as per usual!

Wednesday 17th Feb - Mote Parking

My husband said lets go out for the day so we did. The first time I have been to mote park and I have to say we did enjoy it. It was a little chilly in the park but great for the children to get some fresh air and my biggest child too ( see photo above). We took our swimming stuff and went to the pool at the park. Whilst we were there the fire alarm went and we were evacuated by the sid of the pool. They had to bring foil blankts to keep us warm. We ended the day in good old Maccy D's which is rather pricy with a growing family of five! Lovely day all in all.

Thursday 18th Feb - Work Joy

I was at work all day, I shared this picture from the day before as I didn't get round to taking any photos! Doh

Friday 19th - Cat Lady

Another super busy day at work where I worked 13.5 hours with no break crazy got home super late too. Some of the perks of being a nurse I suppose. Saw this cup and it reminded me of one of my friends.

Saturday 20th - Fun Day

We popped along to the Lark in the Park fun day event which is held by my church as part of its outreach events. Was very popular and great fun, everything was free and the kids had a whale of a time. Such a blessing to the community and to me, you can feel like you have spent a fortune in the holidays.

Sunday 21st - Son Bear Snuggles

Nothing bets a cuddle with your baby right. I have hurt my back some how so was nice to chill out with my youngest. Chilled out day we haven't done too much. Ami broke the washing machine which is always helpful. Kids aye who'd have em.

So another week flying by.

Photo 365 - January 11th - 17th

Monday 11th - Pre School Booster

Poor Ami had to have her pre school booster which she took like a boss. She was so brave and didn't cry. She later went on to say "Mummy why did that nurse hurt me". She was happy to get an brave sticker and a lolly pop. Can not believe she will be starting school in September.

January 12th - Cold Walks

Son Son not enjoying the cold weather at the moment. He cried the whole way home from school Asti on the other hand was happy to have a photo with his Mumma.

January 13th - Nap time Tea Time

This is so rare, seriously rare. When you have two toddlers in tow its bliss taking one shopping. He fell asleep I took my chance to grab a quick tea and Percy pig biscuit. Ami went off with Daddy to work for a bit whilst I mulled round the shop.

January 14th - Work Time Madness

My husband text me relentlessly in the morning asking if I had taken his glasses to work. He did not realise how busy I was obviously. I had not and infact the kids had actually taken them and put them under the blind apparently. I had a massively busy day where we needed much more staff than we had. I suppose thats the joy of nursing sometimes.

January 15th - New Cup

Ok I did not take a photo on this day I was very rubbish, sometimes when you work 13 hours in the day its hard to get inspiration. I did though use this cup all day at work. I got it as a secret santa present at work. Sadly the kids have thrown it down the stairs and broken it. Blooming kids sometimes.

January 16th - Photo Memories

Every January I have taken a  photo of these two on the bed, this was supposed to be the third instalment to the collection but I could not get them to stay still for the love of me. I may try again as the photo I got was very grainy. They seriously hate me taking photographs you would think they would be over it by now.

January 17th - Cold Beach walks

Heres a photo from our walk this afternoon. It was very cold and poor Son Son was not happy. Was nice to get out and not be stuck in watching the football. I love where we live right by the sea its beautiful. Nice end to our week and my last weekend off for a while.

Siblings - September

The last few days we have had lovely sunshine.
We have been able to enjoy the delights of the beach whilst we still can.
There is something special about an empty beach.
It calls to me and now this threesome.

Life is forever changing with Little Bear able to do more everything is a new challenge.
Going to the beach all three are everywhere.
Pants is in the water, Ami crushing sandcastles and Little bear eating every bit of shell and sand he can get his hands on.
But its fun and I love it, its like reliving my childhood days.
I love it when they play together though it makes my heart melt.
Pants looks out for Little bear and little bear feeding Little bear ice cream.

Although they do not always get on, Ami and Pants may argue, Little bear may steal Ami's food they are sure a delight.
I go back to work this month and will miss them more.
So here is one of the last warm Siblings photo.

N is for night time strolls

Ok early evening/ nighttime what ever you may call it, it was past the kids bedtimes so it deffo was nighttime in my books. It was a lovely warm evening and something we love to do, walk along the beach after having a cheeky ice cream. I hope that lovely warm weather comes back, we love the beach.

I also love this photo not sure why, just shows me and my children as us. Mummy and her little babies.

L is for lazing

All this warm weather lately has been lush (another L, see what I did there). We have thoroughly enjoyed being able to play in paddling pools and spending lots of time outside. So here is Ami and here two little friends enjoying a bit of lazing in the pool. Well to be honest they were so excited one of them took their nappy of and then they all followed suit.

K is for Kicking - Alphabet Photo

In our house my husband and son are huge football fans, it would only be natural that Ami would follow suit and with initials AFC she kind of is forced to. Ami is nearly 2 and already has excellent ball control and can tackle her big brother. I was surprised how well she was playing, Pants was pleased as he finally had someone to play with. Her is some shots of her kicking the ball in her cute toddler way.

J is for Jester - Alphabet photo challenge

Dont get me wrong I do love being married but I married the ultimate joker. Not only does he constantly try and be funny with made up jokes, but he also pulls the most silly pranks. Walking down the road with him he tries to push me into upcoming people, he beeps and waves at people passing by, he pretends to be foreign in restaurants or says its my birthday and gets me a balloon.

Thankfully I can be someone who loves a good laugh, but not all the time. He was glad he married me because I find his jokes very funny and often the only one laughing. Its like being married to a big kid sometimes and I have to tell him to be serious. I do love it though as much as I moan, I like that when we go out together we laugh alot and have a good time. Even if I am completely embarrassed at the process.

The kids find him funny so that's always a win. More than just the one laugh!

I is for inspect the land - Alphabet Photo challenge

When looking for a good place to place its good to stand back and inspect the area to play in. You need to see if there is good enough places to hide from mum, run down steep hills and find lots of stones and throw them. Need to inspect the land to find out if its unsafe and if so run ahead and play whilst innocent old mum tries and shoos the kids on to the lovely green flat grass, with no broken glass or dodgy looking rubbush This photo below did may me chuckle I was lost on what to do for the letter I for some reason, I looked on scrabble websites for inspiration (look andother one there) but it came to this, some reason Wednesday comes round so quick and I need to be more organised.

H is for How to give mum a heart attack

As a child I used to love to climb, living by the beach there was cliffs and walls that needed me to scale along, that was fun I didn't think much of it. Now I am a mother I can suddenly see all the dangers and have had my heart in my mouth for nearly eight years. I do not know where my kiddios get it from but they are fearless completely. I am usually a rather relaxed parent but when it comes to heights I am always a bit wary. I blame being a nurse and seeing serious head injuries but sometimes we can not wrap them up  in cotton wool and keep them in side, sometimes they need that bit of freedom to learn for themselves, they need to fall and realise it hurts.

This was my eldest Pants down at the beach, I looked round and saw him climbing the wrong way round on a bridge I told him to go back but he was halfway across so I decided to leave him and let him go over (whilst snapping away as we parents do!)

F is for Friendship

It has always been a love hate relationship with these two, being cousins and with being 8 months apart they have spent the last 8 years chasing, hitting, arguing and playing together. They love to spend time together and constantly argue. Me and my sister have been waiting for a time where the arguing isn't so much and they just get on, as they are getting older they are getting a bit more chilled out. They will be in the same school again from September with Pants moving to junior school so they will see a lot more of each other then and hopefully the craziness when they haven't seen each other will subside (one hopes).

E is for Emotion - Alphabet photo challenge

These photos where taken over a really short period, my dearest little son does have a range of different emotions, one moment he is happy, the next frustrated, the next happy again. It can be so funny to watch. He is taking everything in from his older siblings, copying the noises they make and just wanting to be like them.

He makes me feel emotional too, every new milestone fills me with joy and pride. Even though he is my third it still doesn't change, that happiness I feel from seeing him do something new is as rife as it was with my first, I now just hope it doesn't come round so fast as it does!

D is for Dunk - Alphabet Photo Challenge

Well who doesn't love a good dunk, not the basketball kind, although teenage men thought I was the don at netball (I was actually rubbish but nobody had the nerve to tell me). In our house we love nothing more than a hot tea and biscuits. So what more fitting for the letter D in the alphabet photo challenge for the letter D than dunk. This is my little Ami dunking in her hot tea cup as she calls it.
