Reasons to be Cheerful: week 6

Always look on the bright side of life "whistles" (you get me)! This is one of my favorite linkys of my week! i love to see the things that have made me happy and the blessings that we have!

1) Just had an awesome week at spring harvest serving on the youth team seeing young people empowered and having a great time!

2) got to hang out with my husband when we both wernt busy! he did mention this time im leaving him to come home! (i still cried)

3) Ami has started to crawl today nothing is safe she has worked out how to get the last of Pants easter eggs

4) Still a few more days of the Easter holidays been lovely having no school runs or anything to do with school

5) After having a week of not putting the kids to bed and looking after them for most of the day suddenly its not so mundane but im happy to do so!

6) Happy to be home was getting sick of the food at butlins (my husband is having to endure 18 days of it) the same food every day!

7) The sun has been shining hurray! lets hope this the end of this horrid weather!

Were back

Ok so we have only been away six days, but it has felt like much longer! we survived two six hour car drives and eaten far too much junk food! but we have had an awesome time serving on the youth team at Spring harvest!

Pants and Ami have been really good all week so that helps alot when away, was also nice to be with my husband even if he was busy but weve seen him and now hes not back till Sunday!

Anyway im off to bed its been a manic few days so will post as soon as i can function properly!

6 hour car journeys - Fun Games help!

So on Thursday we head down to Minehead to take part in a Christian event called Spring Harvest (currently where my husband is atm). Travel there takes 6 hours so looking for fun things to do in the car! We had a huge problem this week Pants dropped his ipod on the floor and shattered the screen! oh dear we wondered how long before he broke it.

so our usual Games with Pants;
-Spot the colour of the car win a point (Pants getting a bit old and also a big cheater
-I spy (although not really a time waster)
- Sleeping lions (this is what i plan to play if the kids let me!)
-Rap battle, usually one me and my husband do he puts on an instrumental and we have a rap battle, its very funny and makes time go quicker
-how much road kill can we see (maybe a bit drastic!)

But then we have also Ami who is eight months who may also hopefully sleep most the way! Although shes pretty chilled out so would be happy either way! joy! We did it not to long ago to Disneyland so im sure it will be fine! Although this time no ready made formula that spills everywhere wrecking nappies, ds and everything else!

MAGIC MOMENTS - PROPOSAL

I had met Matt in the summer and got to know him and yes really like him. He lived in Sidcup and I 65 miles away but regardless we carried on. I thought he was very handsome (still do) will his dark yet graying hair dark skin and hairy (strange I know). he is also very funny and always making me laugh!

Matt worked at my church two days a week doing media stuff and working on any videos they needed etc, so we used to see each other from Sunday to Tuesday  He was amazing with pants, pants loved him so much! we had been dating a little while and I had been suggesting getting married to test the waters. We had only been together 5months but some how felt so right. Then one day me and pants were moving house, So Matt had a great idea he would take me and pants to a play park in Minnis bay! I love minnis bay i grew up there as a child so have so many happy memories there. So he says lets go for a walk im like ok if we have to. So he takes me to this spot were we had been one of our first dates and we had seen 8 shooting stars (Matt said it was were he realised he wanted to spend his life with me!).

 I was busy playing with pants, when I turn around I see written on the wall "Sara will you marry me, please"  I was shocked and said yes! He had told me he wrote please because that was good manners, hes such a joker. He apparently been waiting for ages  with champagne in the boot waiting for the right time. Then we got married 7months later but thats a different moment to share another time :)

you eat and drink loads and love chocolate daddy is proud that you love chocolate

you sleep through the night although the odd night you don't

you like to stand and you love to dance

Your hair is getting thicker and even enough to wear a hair clip

your brother adores you especially when you try and follow him around

your a tough cookie who puts up with being carried round by you brother

you light up a room with your gorgegous smile

you have nearly started crawling your going backwards now

you make me laugh
