Ok if your a regular follower of my blog you may have noticed I love to go to the beach! I love the feel of sand between my toes and the smell of the sea (and even seaweed). I love nothing better than a sunny day and not having to rush anywhere, so when I saw we had good weather I couldnt wait for school to finish to pick up my son and head down to the beach.
We are so blessed to live a few minutes walk to our local beach. My sister joined us with her two boys
and of they were swimming whilst a cross Ami stood at the shoreline cross because she could not play with her brother and cousins.

We had dinner and waited for the sun to go down on one of our last summer beach evenings. It was unexpected and unplanned but its nights like this we will remember and cant wait to do it again.
Such a lovely moment. We live very close to the beach too and i love the fact that we dont need to plan a big day out and we can just go hang out and play for a while.
ReplyDeleteThanks yes we love the beach, the weather at the moment makes me miss it dreadfully!
DeleteWhat a lovely way to spend the afternoon, then finishing with a BBQ on the beach! This sounds like my kind of day, I can see the children had a great time and as you say, we have to make the most of the last of the warm weather. Thanks for linking up and sharing your beach fun with Country Kids.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting!
DeleteWow I wish this was my ordinary!
ReplyDeleteLol we go to the beach as much as we can when its sunny :)
DeleteLove your photos. The unplanned days are always the best and such a beautiful beach
ReplyDeleteThanks its a lovely beach not as popular as other beaches in our area!
DeleteI love the beach too, I think it's because I grew up inland and we only got to visit the sea once or twice a year. It's lovely now to live a few minutes away from one. I know we don't go as often as we should given how close we live, so you've inspired me to take a bbq or picnic down to ours one day soon if the sun decides to make an appearance again. x
ReplyDeleteHopefully the sun will make another appearance I shall be disappointed if this it for the year!!
DeleteWhat a lovely thing to have on your door step. I would absolutely love to live near the beach, it is one of my dreams. The photos are gorgeous too. Thank you for joining in the Ordinary Moments. x
