Teletubbies Po's Scooter and Helmet review.

Its funny when something from your childhood makes a big come back it seems to be happening a lot lately which is cool. My little ones love Teletubbies and we were thrilled to be asked to review the Po Scooter and Helmet. My little ones love to be on the move and never stop so it was perfect for them. The scooter is easy to put together and comes in three main parts, allan keys are provided in the box so after some gentle peer pressure from the kids I was off making the scooter. The Helmet also comes with a loop so you can look like Po (photo of the helmet at the end with Po attachment). 

What I didnt realise is that the Teletubbies scooter came with some sounds too, in the garden I could hear this little voice and the kids laughing. There was me wondering what the noise was and it was in fact the scooter, which has two little buttons that make some Po sound effects. The bottom of the scooter has a picture of Po on the Anti-slip foot plate. 

The Helmet and the scooter both has such bold and bright designs it will be hard not to be noticed when zooming around. All very iconic to the Teletubbies brand. The scooter has three wheels which are puncture proof too, the three wheels are perfect for little ones learning to ride a scooter for the first time as it does provide some stability. Son Son who is very confidant on a balance bike has yet to master a scooter this was perfect as it didn't keep on falling down and was always upright. 

The Helmet is great too in helping to keep your child safe whilst on the scooter. Helps your little one think they are just like Po too. The Helmet comes with adjustable straps, quick release buckle and a ESP liner for added comfort. It is also super light so they almost forget they are wearing it. My little ones often complain to wear helmets for a long time so this was an added bonus to that. The holes in the Helmet make sure its well ventilated but poor Son Son that boy can sweat for England so was helpful in that aspect. Last not to forget the most important part the Po antenna which can be removed   but looks cool on. 

My little ones have loved testing out the Po scooter and Helmet and has been a deffinite win in our house. The summer may be over but Autumn is a fantastic month to keep being active especially with a scooter at the park.

Princess Peppa's Carriage Review

We recently received the Princess Peppa Carriage for my little ones to review they are massive Peppa Pig fans, come on lets face it who isn't even I have been known to laugh at one of Daddy pigs escapades. I just knew my princess loving Ami would be over the moon with it. 

The set comes with a moveable Peppa and George the carriage and three detachable horses. The little George has lots of places he can sit and Peppa can sit in the carriage like a princess. Thankfully the toy came ready assembled so once I got it out of the box it was ready to go. Another bonus is that it doesnt involve batteries meaning that children have to use there imagination to play along with it.

 I added some extra figures too as all the Peppa figures work in all the play sets. Ami had a lot of fun putting Sir George and Princess Peppa in there rightful places. Son Son also loved it although he kept on saying the George was Peppa because he was in the red outfit. Its very cute and every Peppa fans dream to play with.  The new Peppa pig range is something well worth investing in. Its great for the children to learn through play and be creative with there stories. Its a toy that isn't too noisy and won't go off in the middle of the night too.

GO Jetters Twitter party

We received a massive box last week full of lots of goodies the kids have been feral waiting for the box to be opened. Bambini and Me - Bamboo swaddle and Washcloths review.

Sometimes you come across a brand that you would consider having another baby just to get your hands on some of the beautiful products. My youngest is now 2 and a Half and we still treat him as  bit of a baby. We were asked by Bambini and me if we would like to feature some of there products on my little blog and I found my self saying yes because I loved the prints so much. When the package came inside was a large swaddle blanket and little Son Sons eyes lit up as if it was christmas and he wanted to take it everywhere with him. 

I thought I would feature some of there other items as I fell in love with all the colours pastels have always been my favourites and these soft tones just look fabulous, lots of my friends are having babies very soon and I have my eye on some of these items, especially the grey bunny romper. We were send the yellow Bamboo swaddle blanket and a pack of Bamboo washcloths. The washcloths  were rather beautiful and the most smoothest I have ever touched. The box its self comes as a pack of 6 and in various pastel colours. They are perfect for everyone from newborns to Mummy and Daddies. The wash clothes come in a beautifully presented box which would make them perfect for a gift or present at a baby shower. They retail at £15 which personally I think its good value as they are made to a high standard. 

The swaddle blanket we were send went down a treat as pictured belie. He loves it so much he now can't sleep with out it, he likes to wrap him self up in it, its almost as if he things he is a baby. The material is super soft Bamboo. My Son Son usually uses Muslin Square as a comfort blanket but this is much more fun. Not only is it so large it is bright yellow in the most beautiful duck print. This Bamboo Swaddle would also be perfect for nursing mothers, I for one was never comfortable breastfeeding in public and this would have been so handy to avoid any naughty nip slips. Another way to use it as something for your baby to lie on over a cold changing mat. Especially a newborn, my little ones would always cry when I placed them on the cold changing matt, this would have been suer handy. The Bamboo swaddle comes in its own presented box as pictured above and comes in a variety of pastel colours. It retails at £15 which I think is an amazing price for the quality of the product.

GiftAlien gift box - Peppa Pig Movie night in Review

My children are massive Peppa pig fans its something that is on in our house a lot. We were recently approached to try out a box for children to have a movie night in. The lovely people at GiftAlien sent my little Peppa pig a little box full of all the goodies for a No adults allowed Peppa Pig Movie Night. The box has been on the table for a while and has sparked some interest, Ive found Ami under the table trying to prise the box open before now. Thankfully for them the time came to see what was in the green box.

Little shouts of joy came out as two little people saw that the box contained lots of Peppa Pig Goodies. The box contained enough for two children the list contained:

I brought the outside picnic bench and placed it in front of the TV so they could sit and watch Peppa. I also gave them there tickets and made them queue up as if they were at the cinema, although Ami actually thought she was going to the cinema. They were most excited about the painting and the balloons. They sat for a good 30 mins whilst I put Peppa on in the background and happily painted. I was actually rather impressed with the results. When they finished they moved onto the snacks and drinks, which all contained healthy snacks unlike when we go to the cinema and its all popcorn and chocolate.

Ami said "This is the best time ever" I think mainly because they are not allowed to paint in the front room and it made it that little bit extra special that they did. Personally I thought the idea was really cute and enjoyed seeing them so excited about what was in the box. Was defiantly a win with these two at ages 2 and 3. Obviously we didn't do the painting at night time and I didn't leave them on there own as they are only young (and the fact that they destroyed the carpet with there paint before now hence the paint in the kitchen only rule was evoked).

A massive Apologies to my readers

If you have been regular reader of my little blog you may have noticed the lack of posts I have been writing. I am ever so sorry I let my little blog go and have found it hard to want to sit and write again.  Overtime I have started writing I have been sat there with a blank screen and suddenly whatever on the TV is a lot more appealing. Also life has been busy I have had many nights at work/ general life being busy . Also wanting to just sit and watch TV with the hubby. So Sorry guys.

A lot has happened since I last wrote we have been on holiday to France and camping three times! Three yes the last time was a bit mental Ami was up at 4:30 after an unsettled night I was almost ready to drive home. Another big thing I have learned to drive!! The world is now my oyster and I can go where I want. Its very strange I suddenly have a lot more time on my hands. 

I plan to write a few more posts this week but we will see today is only Monday and I haven't  wore anything for a few weeks I am a bit rusty. To be honest I am doing anything but my revalidation one of the many treats you get to complete when you are a nurse. I don't think many people realise that it costs to be a nurse not only that you also have the privilege of proving you have completed the right amount of hours etc. 

So here is us for now, life is busy its the summer and I am all for being outside when ever it is sunny. We have been exploring beaches and parks its been nice to get to places we have not been able to reach on our own. 

Educational Play the Schleich Way

My little ones love playing with animal toys, its something I have always loved myself and tried to encourage. I often have placed animals in our messy play tray and it has provided alot of time for the little ones to enjoy making up little stories and generally getting really messy. We have a small selection of Schleich toys and they are always the ones I love to look at the toy shop (ok I am a little sad). They are such fantastic quality though and worth the investment they are indestructible too.  

We have been looking at the new Schleich Brochure which is by far more than a catalogue of the toys but a guide into getting the most through play with these toys. The best thing its free and you can download it here right now and check it out ( Link in the Side Bar). 

It covers a whole range of things including the perfect play balance, it helps to encourage play and communication skills. Also for the parents like me who I have to admit can find it hard to come up with things to do with the children comes with helpful hints to get the best out of the Schleich products. 

In the Brouchure it explains about the benefits of helping you child to play freely. It contained facts about the importance of active, social, creative and free types of play. 

It is packed with plenty of fun game ideas too, the one I love the best is the setting up the scenes for the children. I do find this hard to come up with new stuff for them to do. Another important thing it had was a section about siblings. As I have two children with a very small age gap they often have to play together. Which can be hard as one loves sitting down the other loved running around, it can be hard to find something to suite both of them. 

They love the Schleich toys I often find a few in my bag and perfect for them to play on the move. I have often been known to whip out a killer whale during a dinner out somewhere but the kids enjoy playing with them. Schleich products have been going for 80 years I think that means they are defiantly worth the quality.
