Teletubbies Live at the Marlowe Canterbury.

Seriously who doesn't love the Teletubbies? Just look at them they are sooo cute. My kids love them there favourite being the baby in the sky for some reason. So with that, we are off to watch the Teletubbies live show at the Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury. The children have been to the Marlowe before to watch the Christmas panto so I am sure they will have a great time watching the Teletubbies live (now we just need to get my husband round to the idea of it too)

 We look forward to joining in with our friends Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po in a show that explores all of the Tellytubby land. We will get to look out for the things we know and love in the show such as noo-noo. Hopefully will give us a bit of peace during the summer holidays. The show is jam packed with songs from the show and new songs too. 

The Tour has been going around the UK for the last year or so and have finally made it to a theatre near us. Teletubbies is based for any age from babies to Pre-schoolers. It is a great show to take your little ones to as everyone is in the same boat with fidgety children. I am looking forward to not telling them to sit still and be quiet. I can imagine everyone is in the same boat just looking for something to do that the kids will love. I am sure my two will love i when there are songs and dancing.

If your little ones like the Teletubbies then it is one to try or even as a chance to take them to the theatre for the first time. It's short and just the right amount of fun for a great trip out.

Teletubbies 20th Anniversary

Can you quite believe it that those colourful characters we have come to know and love are 20 years old! I still remember me and my sister watching it (we were teens) and shouting "Wheres the bear" to each other like all the cool kids did...

We were sent the new Teletubbies DVD to preview and it is out now available from Sainsbury's. Which my little ones seem to love it. Son Son get engrossed in the TV and Ami just loves the little Tiddly Teletubbies which are a new feature in the newer episodes mainly because they are babies and she loves all things babies. What they both love is the tummy time where one of the Teletubbies screen shows a short film. Its always such fun for them to guess which one it was going to be, it reminds me of me and my sister guessing which one would pop up next (we really were sad children *ahem teenagers).

The characters still feature the same iconic accessories such as Tinky-Winkys bag, Laa Laa's Ball, Dipsy's Hat and Po's Scooter. Lets not forget Noo-Noo which was in my eyes the key that held it all together cleaning up after those messy Teletubbies with there toast and there custard!!

The Teletubbies Big Hugs DVD has six episodes on it and also comes with a mini colouring pad. The pad contains lots of lovely pictures for them to associate with each different character.

We also received a lovely Chunky hard back Teletubbies book called the The Teletubbies Custard Ride. It has different parts that you can push  and pull. My little ones have enjoyed reading it at bed time this last week. Its fantastic for toddlers as it  has lots of parts to keep them entertained and is written in the same language as the show. Both Ami and Son Son at 3 and 4 have loved it.

Teletubbies Po's Scooter and Helmet review.

Its funny when something from your childhood makes a big come back it seems to be happening a lot lately which is cool. My little ones love Teletubbies and we were thrilled to be asked to review the Po Scooter and Helmet. My little ones love to be on the move and never stop so it was perfect for them. The scooter is easy to put together and comes in three main parts, allan keys are provided in the box so after some gentle peer pressure from the kids I was off making the scooter. The Helmet also comes with a loop so you can look like Po (photo of the helmet at the end with Po attachment). 

What I didnt realise is that the Teletubbies scooter came with some sounds too, in the garden I could hear this little voice and the kids laughing. There was me wondering what the noise was and it was in fact the scooter, which has two little buttons that make some Po sound effects. The bottom of the scooter has a picture of Po on the Anti-slip foot plate. 

The Helmet and the scooter both has such bold and bright designs it will be hard not to be noticed when zooming around. All very iconic to the Teletubbies brand. The scooter has three wheels which are puncture proof too, the three wheels are perfect for little ones learning to ride a scooter for the first time as it does provide some stability. Son Son who is very confidant on a balance bike has yet to master a scooter this was perfect as it didn't keep on falling down and was always upright. 

The Helmet is great too in helping to keep your child safe whilst on the scooter. Helps your little one think they are just like Po too. The Helmet comes with adjustable straps, quick release buckle and a ESP liner for added comfort. It is also super light so they almost forget they are wearing it. My little ones often complain to wear helmets for a long time so this was an added bonus to that. The holes in the Helmet make sure its well ventilated but poor Son Son that boy can sweat for England so was helpful in that aspect. Last not to forget the most important part the Po antenna which can be removed   but looks cool on. 

My little ones have loved testing out the Po scooter and Helmet and has been a deffinite win in our house. The summer may be over but Autumn is a fantastic month to keep being active especially with a scooter at the park.

The New Teletubbies Toys - Review

I know that some of you readers have been on edge waiting to see what was in the box. If you are wondering what I am talking about we received a box a couple of weeks back that we were not allowed to share the contents of the box, until now. So here it is the new range of toys we have had the privilege of being the first ones to review and try them out.

Ami and her friend were who came round to see her at the right time as it was the big unveil of the box. They were so excited to see the box and couldnt wait to get inside (I was also excited it has taken all my will power to not open it all up!). They took it in turns to spend the carefully wrapped toys. Each colour represented a teletubby toy character. 

  

They were so excited to see all the toys they could not wait to get the boxes open to start playing with all the toys. The box contained: 

- Pull along Custard Train

 -Talking Po Soft toy

-Soft Laa Laa Plush

- Tinky Winky, Dipsy and Noo Noo collectable figures. 

Custard Train : RRP £29.99

This was my personal favourite along with the children's of all the teletubbies toys, not only did it make a lot of noise with flashing lights it also made some fart noises which they found hilarious. I take it that the sound is the making of the custard and not the teletubbies them selves. One of my favourite aspects of the toys is that the figures do not come off the train, which if your toy boxes are anything like mine forever getting jumbled up. The Custard train has a sting long enough for children to pull along the floor, as they do the teletibbubies spins and the custard train plays music. It is suitable for ages 18 months and is a lot of fun.

Talking Po Soft Toy: RRP £9.99

Another toy in the box was a talking Po, who was my favourite of the Teletubbies as a child. This cute little soft toy is not only cuddly but also if you squeeze Po's tummy she speaks sounds from the show. My friends little boy fell in love with Po and took her home. He was well and truly in love with the toy. The toy is super soft and has a hard face and is extremely cute. Suitable for ages 18 months and above. Available in the the Teletubbies characters.

Soft Plush Laa Laa : RRP £6.99

This Laa Laa toy Ami has fallen in love with, she has taken this little soft toy with her everywhere and even goes to bed with it too. She hasn't had any other soft toys apart from her unicorn for a long time it must be very special to her. Another super soft toy any Teletubbies fans will love adding this super soft Laa-Laa plush to their Teletubbies collection. Available with all the other characters too Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po. (Each sold separately)

Lastly we received three collectible figures, we got Tinky Winky, Dipsy and Noo Noo. They loved the little characters and played with them along side the train. The little Noo Noo has little wheels so can be wheeled around. They are only £3.99 so you can build a massive collection in no time. Available in all the Teletubby characters too. 

The Teletubby toys have been an massive hit in our house. Ami did ask why do the Teletubbies have iPads on there tummies. The toys are available at many retailers and prices vary. Why not go ahead and check out the new collection at character.

Teletubbies Toy Delivery

I remember as a child or maybe even a teenager me and my sister being excited about a new program on the tv. A funny program with these colourful characters (hey not that kind of colourful). We were actually rather sad and loved it a little to much as older girls. Then when my first son was born it was still on the tv and he used to love it too. So with that I was excited to see it back on the screen. 

On Christmas Eve I returned home to a massive box with the teletubbies on the side, it took all I had not to open it but it being the day before Christmas I held back. I hid it in the conservatory. ]t. I have found it a little ripped I expect my eldest has wanted to look inside as if it was the toddlers they would have been opened long ago. We aren't to open the box until the 11th then we can share what is in the box. 

So mack sure you come back on the 11th when I can share what is inside!!!

I am well excited its like Christmas all over again...

So for now the box has to go tubby bye bye ( sorry bad joke)
