Teletubbies Po's Scooter and Helmet review.

Its funny when something from your childhood makes a big come back it seems to be happening a lot lately which is cool. My little ones love Teletubbies and we were thrilled to be asked to review the Po Scooter and Helmet. My little ones love to be on the move and never stop so it was perfect for them. The scooter is easy to put together and comes in three main parts, allan keys are provided in the box so after some gentle peer pressure from the kids I was off making the scooter. The Helmet also comes with a loop so you can look like Po (photo of the helmet at the end with Po attachment).

What I didnt realise is that the Teletubbies scooter came with some sounds too, in the garden I could hear this little voice and the kids laughing. There was me wondering what the noise was and it was in fact the scooter, which has two little buttons that make some Po sound effects. The bottom of the scooter has a picture of Po on the Anti-slip foot plate.

The Helmet and the scooter both has such bold and bright designs it will be hard not to be noticed when zooming around. All very iconic to the Teletubbies brand. The scooter has three wheels which are puncture proof too, the three wheels are perfect for little ones learning to ride a scooter for the first time as it does provide some stability. Son Son who is very confidant on a balance bike has yet to master a scooter this was perfect as it didn't keep on falling down and was always upright.

The Helmet is great too in helping to keep your child safe whilst on the scooter. Helps your little one think they are just like Po too. The Helmet comes with adjustable straps, quick release buckle and a ESP liner for added comfort. It is also super light so they almost forget they are wearing it. My little ones often complain to wear helmets for a long time so this was an added bonus to that. The holes in the Helmet make sure its well ventilated but poor Son Son that boy can sweat for England so was helpful in that aspect. Last not to forget the most important part the Po antenna which can be removed   but looks cool on.

My little ones have loved testing out the Po scooter and Helmet and has been a deffinite win in our house. The summer may be over but Autumn is a fantastic month to keep being active especially with a scooter at the park.

The scooter Retails at £29.99 and the Helmet £24.99 and available at the following shops

Very, Littlewoods, Tesco, TRU, Argos, Boots and Halfords

Getting back into the Garden

I have always wanted a garden a proper one with grass and everything so when we moved to this house 18 months back I kind of hoped it would come naturally. Having grown up in flats and courtyards all this grass and plants is completely new to me. It is really lovely to just open the doors and just go outside to a safe place is actually wonderful. I kind of forgot all about it over the winter complaining to be too cold.

The weather is warming (some days anyway) and we have been in the Garden. The kids were overjoyed and ran straight outside as I opened the conservatory door. Well that was more the toddlers Asti just strutted outside like cool Nine year olds do. Our garden is surprisingly warm especially on sunny days so the children were happy in just T shirts. I was in a jumper I am far too much of a wimp to not feel cold.

This year we are going to get into gardening, me and Asti are making a plan and we will learn ( hopefully). My past experience of gardening is awful I am completely hopeless but need to learn. I cut the gradd which was rather long so thats a start I suppose  There is alot of weeds and other things that I have no clue and its about time. My husband isn't too keen either. I have made a bit of a start I sorted all the broken toys that have broken and put them to one side for the tip. I have also brought a kids garden table and a broom... not getting that far at all really.

The children love to be outside and it does them good, with the weather brightening up there is no excuse not too go outside. If I can get the little ones on board even better I am sure nothing will stop them from getting involved. They love a bit of messy play and a bit of mud is perfect for that. Just need to get over the fact thats there are lots of little bugs and spiders even worse are the bees that come from nowhere. So here is to more Sunny warm days and more time in the garden.

Walks, batcaves and Fun with the kids!

When I am not indoors knee deep in nappies (jokes maybe ankle height, unless I have had spicy food it may be higher) I love to be outside. Thankfully I have some little explorers who with a push like to join me. My daughter as soon as she wakes up stands by the door with her coat on until somebody lets her out (not that she is a puppy, she does have some resemblances to one..) and my older son you have to stand behind him with a cattle prod until he realises he does like to be out side and the real world isnt made up of blocks and squares like the worlds of minecraft. Little bear my younger son is happy as long as he is strapped to his mumma.

So of we go walking around outside, we often like to let my daughter take the lead at 18 months she knows every route to get towards the beach. Its as if she is pulled to the sea she hasnt made it in the sea yet in which I am very surprised she may not love it some much if she realises how cold it is! Over the last few years of living by the sea my son has found a base in which he has called his batcave. I often have to go in before to check its safe as I think youths go there as a hiding place as we often find bottles hidden in trees and empty sweet wrappers.

So its often alot of fun he wants to climb, Ami cant quite she gets bored and heads to the sea. This is what happens every time! It has been lovely getting out, It has really made me realise how much of a hermit I have been, and how much more happy everyone is to be out.

It was so lovely to be outside in the sunshine, enjoying a bit of family time, even if we were chasing kids and climbing in bat caves I would rather do that anyday than sit indoors. Roll on the days with no coats and lovely warm days, evenings spent drinking a cold cider on the beach whilst the kids play outside past bedtime, i cant wait for the summer!
