Son Son your 2 and a Half

Thought it was about time I did an update on little baby Son Son. I say baby he is very much not a baby any more. As each day passes he gets more and more grown up. Both my self and my husband are always saying how cute he is. I last did an update 6 months ago and so much has changed, he still remains full of energy but is so more independent. I thought I would separate into categories so I can skim read in a few years time, or you can if you have a similar aged child. Not in a competition way but you know its nice to see how children develop and all that. Especially if you have been following this blog since Son Son was born.  Its kind of like a report now the sub titles have made it easier to write about and maybe not as random... Ok its me its going to be random.

Sleeping

Son Son remains a good sleeper, he loves going to bed. Out if the three he is the guaranteed one who will go to bed. A few times lately he has called out for Mummy and Daddy but is nowhere near as demanding as his older sister. All he needs is his Dummy, muzzy and some milk (still in a bottle, yes I know he shouldn't have one but hey why break the good routine). He likes a little prayer and a kiss where you say "I love you" then he says " I love you more" and that goes one for a while. We don't hear a peep, well we hearing him snoring downstairs but he generally does not wake up till his sister wakes him without fail usually at 6:30am. He rarely naps in the day only in the car now, he does flag about 6pm if he doesn't.

Eating

Son Son remains a good eater usually grazing though the day. He asks for a drink and a biscuit usually every 30 minutes. He refuses water but happily drinks it at nursery so I am told. He is a great eater and often demolishes his dinner, if we eat out he helps Ami out too. He isn't a big fan of ice lollies and ice creams but always wants them. Like his parents he has a sweet tooth and loves cake, carrot cake being his favourite. He does with that like fruit too, he won't touch a smoothie especially a home made one. His favourite dinner is anything with mash and vegetables.

Playing

Son Son loves football or any ball related thing. His Granddad brought him a small football goal and some little footballs and he has been in his element. He generally plays with most things and is often forced to play the role of Dad in his big sisters games. He loves paying in the garden especially with any mud/ sand / water. he likes to mix things to make soups and pretend to eat. He generally plays what ever Ami is playing. It will be interesting to see what it will be like in September when Ami starts school and what he will be like on his own at home. He loves watching Blaze and Bing and constantly asks for the tv on if its off.

Behaviour

He is generally sweet and cute but has developed the typical 2 year old tantrum stage. Basically if you have annoyed he will blow a raspberry and say "Your a poopey". The delights of older siblings to learn things from. He is very stubborn and takes a

lot of talking round if he doesn't want to do something. He is very cuddly and loves to snuggle with his parents. He likes to be told he is doing something well and when you praise him he gives the biggest smile. He gets away with most things because he is the youngest.

Speech

Son Son has come on alot over the last few months, he generally tackles most words now and gets ever so cross if you don't understand him. He loves to talk if you can prise the dummy out of his mouth. The nursery thought he may need speech and language but I personally thought it was Ami talking for him. If you ask poor Son Son a question she answers it before he gets a chance. He is amazing us each day with new words. Also the ability to remember things and tell us stories. like the other day I came home from work and he told me " Micheal come and drop hoover at home". I heard the story from him before my husband explained it, he was like how did you know that. His best friends are Preacha and Milly at the moment if asked.

Siblings

Being the youngest isn't always fun for poor Son Son. He is often classed as too young by Ami who is only 15 months older and therefore is a super grown up. She tells him off alot but he is ever so pleased if she lets him play. Whereas its the opposite with Asti who loves Son Son and is always encouraging him. Son Son loves it when Asti plays football with him in the garden. Son loves his siblings he is always going on about them asking where they are. He calls them Lion and Mallie.

So here rounds up my little report, I can not believe my youngest child is 2 and a half seriously where is the time going. Its nice though I feel like I am drifting far away from babies and life is getting manageable (sometimes). I am not going to lie having three children is overwhelming at time but its also alot of fun too.

Son Son is Two

Our little Son Son is two. 

Two. My little baby is sure growing up.

We have made two years as a family of five. 

Two years of people always reminding us that we have our hands full (Thanks for the reminder always helpful to hear....). 

You are such a joy, you really are.

The most cuddly and clingy out of the three. 

You have your fathers nature and seem to be very chilled yet know how to have fun. 

You love to dance and basically any game that involves a ball or a car. 

Over the year you showed amazing accuracy with kicking and throwing a ball, we got many balls/ toys/ dummies to the bead.

You love to follow Ami around and want everything she has. 

You make us laugh now that you are starting to talk. 

Each days more words come and its very cute. 

You can form three words together. Mainly "Daddy at work".

You have a lot of energy and like to run everywhere.

You are very clumsy at times, you fall over a lot, and come home from nursery with injury slips every  time we pick you up.

You are about to move to the toddler room at nursery which we are sad to see you go up. 

You love nursery and the staff love you there. 

You really are such a joy to be around.

Son son your 18 months

Son son your 18 months.

What? How? When?

It's been the fastest 18 months of my life.

You've grown up so much this month your such a toddler now.

I find my self stuck following you and Ami as you go off in different directions.

You have no fear and wander off a lot, 

You have a paddy when you see the reigns.

You love to get out he pushchair and walk.

This month you have been trying to talk a lot more.

You try to say words and love to be encouraged.

People are starting to understand you but you still get frustrated when we don't know what you want.

You throw your self on the floor and throw everything you don't want away.

You say yeah a lot and nod when you want something. 

You love to be helpful and every night you like to give Ami her beaker, 

You get really cross if we give it to her. 

you like to hoover air try to we often give you the end and you pretend. 

You love to play cars and drive them round on the carpet.

You try to play with ami but get cross when she gets too bossy.

You love playing outside and stand by the door ready to jump out before the door closes.

You love your food but still will not eat much fruit.

I often put it into smoothies which you love, especially any mummy makes for herself!

You love to feed your self and refuse all help. 

You throw your food when your finished.

You love mash and vegatbles still. 

Your favourite food is crisps especially watsits.

You wave to people as soon as you see them and often flash your tummy.

You love to see birds and shout when you see them saying "bee bee"

You love Animals and squeal when you see them.

You love to dance and recently started to do little happy feet.

 You and Ami hold hands and spin in circles you love it and squel with joy. 

You love to try to draw and do craft but enjoy throwing it on the floor.

You enjoy throwing things and have such awesome aim. 

Especially when it comes to throwing at people aka balls at heads. 

You love football and always kick when you see a ball. 

You also kick people in stead of bundle oh dear.

 You love to play fight and we have to encourage you not too.

You enjoy bashing ami on the head them running away, that game never ends well for you.

You have loved playing outside especially the sand and water tray.

Even if you do pour it all on the ground you enjoy it all the same.

You do not like shaving foam and it makes you cry.

You recently love lego mini figures and have taken to carrying one round with you. 

We do have to remind you not to put it in your mouth but you think your such a big boy.

Son Son your 17 Months

Wow you are 17 months old. 

Each month you are changing.

Each month you are becoming more independent.

This month we finally got your hair cut and suddenly you looked so much older.

You really enjoyed having your hair brushed.

Now people don't call you a girl 

(Except when we run out of spares and you had to wear pink leggings the other day)

You do not say too many words but communicate through noises and pointing. 

You say yeah a lot and mine,

We have heard you say more but these words yo use the most.

You have to fight to get yourself heard over two noisy siblings.
Another favourite word is ball. 
You have such amazing kick for a little toddler. 
Also can throw a ball very accurately you never miss our heads or knocking things over when you want to. 

You love to wind your sister and brother up by sneaking behind them and bashing them on the head. 

You then run away and hope they chase you. 

You love to have whatever they have and shout when you don't get your own way.

You follow Ami everywhere and sometimes look a bit lost without her.
You like to bring things for Ami and cuddle her but she always isnt too keen.

You love cuddles and always want to sit on mummy and daddy lap when at home.

When your outside you want to explore and usually found going the opposite direction to everyone else. You love to have a muzzy and take it everywhere with you.

You love slide and always go down on your front not matter how many times we try to help you.

You love to play outside and especially playing with water and sand. 

You like to pour water on the floor and jump on it.

You love Dancing especially with Daddy.
You love playing chase,
and after dinner you go rather hyper and run in circles for ages.
 You still love animals and squeal with delight if you see any.
We are yet to take you to a zoo I know you would love it.

You won't eat much fruit at home but you do at nursery.

You eat most foods but spaghetti is your favourite.

You love breakfast and will sometimes polish of a few bowls of cereal.
You always want ice cream although you don't actually like it. 

You still Sleep well.
Often sleeping a good 12 hours and a good 2 hour nap. 
You get woken up by your noisy sister.
You get cross if she wakes you up too early. 
You snore so loud we can hear you downstairs over the TV.

Another month has flown by you are such a lovely boy.
